communication and learning enterprises
Cumbria,
Formed by Marion Stanton in response to the needs realised in her experience of
having a son with cerebral palsy. CandLE specialise in supporting students who
rely on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Expanding the
potential of software that is traditionally used to create vocabularies CandLE
change the learning and adult life opportunities of AAC students. • We support
students in mainstream and special schools with curriculum access, literacy, and
communication. • We offer training to individuals, schools and organisations on
AAC, accessing the curriculum and literacy. • We are a national provider of the
AAC City & Guilds. A qualification that students can gain in their use of AAC.
