HOW DO I START LEARNING FOREX? The most effective approach to learning Forex trading is via free courses that cover introductory topics, pouring a deep foundation and then building on them with more advanced lessons. The content should be interactive, easy to understand, and followed by a quiz to ensure beginners have understood the lessons. IS IT HARD TO LEARN FOREX TRADING? It depends on the individual, and beginners should approach Forex trading with the same mindset as choosing a high-skilled profession, like an engineer, a software developer, a lawyer, or a doctor. Those passionate about finance, numbers, and the economy should have no problems learning how to trade. Developing a profitable long-term strategy requires more time, patience, and trial-and-error. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN FOREX? The time it takes to learn Forex depends on beginners, their time commitment, and capabilities, but it often takes months to cover the basics, plus a few more months to learn about technical analysis. Beginners must also study trading psychology, as it makes or breaks any trader, but it is unfortunately a frequently ignored topic. HOW DO I START TRADING FOREX BY MYSELF? Before opening a trading account with an online broker, beginners should invest adequate time in their Forex education. The easy accessibility of financial markets causes most beginners to underestimate education, while the reality is that successful Forex trading requires an equal or more substantial commitment than most high-skilled professions. IS FX ACADEMY GOOD FOR BEGINNERS? FX Academy is a high-quality educational academy featuring interactive courses, excellent and easy-to-understand written content, short videos, and quizzes at the end of each lesson. Everything is free of charge, allowing everyone equal access to one of the most comprehensive educational resources for Forex traders, which expand continuously. ARE ONLINE FOREX TRADING CLASSES WORTH IT? Free online Forex trading classes can offer tremendous value to beginners. Paid-for alternatives, often created by failed Forex traders, charge a fee for free content, and beginners should avoid them, irrelevant of how well-marketed paid classes are. WHERE SHOULD I START LEARNING FOREX TRADING? There are many ways to get started with a high-quality Forex education. A comprehensive Forex academy offering free lessons, like FX Academy, provides an excellent start to beginners who are excited about Forex trading and seek well-explained content, interactive courses, videos, and quizzes to conclude each lesson. HOW DO BEGINNERS LEARN FOREX TRADING? Beginners can spend hours searching online for educational Forex content they think they must study, which can provide an experience of its own but may result in missing important topics. A more efficient method is using free educational courses like the ones provided by FX Academy, with experts curating content relevant to beginners and advanced traders.

Sheffield Jazz Workshop

sheffield jazz workshop

Sheffield

Sheffield Jazz runs a Saturday Morning Workshop providing an opportunity for people who play an instrument or sing to learn about and explore the theory and practice of jazz improvisation in a supportive group environment. The Workshop is now in its 40th year! There are currently five groups running each Saturday morning which are loosely graded from beginners to more experienced, each under the guidance of a tutor who is a jazz musician with wide experience of playing and teaching. Twice a year a concert will be arranged where each group will perform material that has been worked on during the preceding sessions. Who’s it for? Sheffield Jazz Workshop is intended for adults but is open to under-18s with parental consent, provided they are able to participate and behave appropriately in the group. Individual instrument tuition is not provided – some basic ability on your chosen instrument is required. Some familiarity with music theory would be helpful but is not a requirement. Anyone interested in exploring jazz improvisation is welcome to join in. The best way to find out if it’s right for you is to give it a try, including just listening and observing without an instrument at first if you so wish. The Workshop does not own or provide any equipment so you need to bring your own gear. Keyboard players need to bring an electric keyboard as the rooms we use don’t have pianos. Guitarists and bass players will need to bring an amp. Vocalists will need a mic and an amp unless you have a very strong voice! Bear in mind you’ll probably be in a room with 6 – 10 saxophones or brass instruments and need enough amplification to be heard in that context. Everyone else bring your instrument (and a music stand plus pencil and paper). Where, when and how much? Location: King Edward’s Upper School, Glossop Road, Sheffield, S10 2PW (near to the Hallamshire Hospital and King Edward’s Swimming Pool – car park access from Glossop Rd or Newbould Lane) Time: 10.00 am –12.30 pm on Saturdays, most Saturdays during school term time. If you are new to the workshop, please come along on a Saturday at 9.40 and someone will help you find a suitable group. If you have any questions, please contact Hannah at hanzieb@hotmail.com Cost per session; waged: £15.00, unwaged: £7.00 Please do not attend if you have tested positive for Covid-19, if you have Covid-type symptoms or have recently been in contact with someone who has or has subsequently tested positive for Covid. Who are the tutors? Workshop groups are mostly run by Chris Walker, Hannah Taylor, Graham Jones, Nadim Teimoori and Johnny Hunter. Occasionally some sessions will be run by other musicians, including Jude Sacker, Dave Burgoyne and Paul Baxter.

Personal Care Regulatory Ltd.

personal care regulatory ltd.

Personal Care Regulatory (PCR) are a friendly team of 'in house' cosmetics regulatory, toxicology, compliance and quality experts, offering a comprehensive range of services backed up by the latest safety software and an extensive database of detailed toxicological profiles. It might seem tempting to turn to cheap solutions to 'get the job done' as quickly as possibly. At PCR, it’s more than just paperwork and box ticking. It's about understanding what your business needs and delivering it brilliantly. This is a regulatory company with a difference; experts in compliance across the supply chain. From trademark in-house safety assessment software which enables a faster and more detailed CPSR, bespoke end-to-end compliance service, through to expert label copywriting service, we offer a full range of high quality services and ‘wrap around’ solutions, tailored to growing beauty brands. PCR’s mission and purpose At PCR, we believe that regulation and compliance are the cornerstones of product quality. Our mission is to cut through the complexity of compliance, and offer the level of service and expertise usually reserved for big corporations to growing brands, at a fraction of the cost. We work in partnership with you, acting as your ‘in house’ experts, giving you the confidence to take your brand to the next level. The highest standards, delivered by a team of supportive experts. Above all, we strive to make the process as straightforward as possible, at great value, every time. Dr. Mojgan Moddaresi (Founder) – Personal Care Regulatory About the founder Dr Mojgan Moddaresi (AKA ‘Dr M’) has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharma and cosmetics industries. She is a pharmacist in training (PharmD) and proudly holds the accolade of receiving the first ever phD in Cosmetic Science from the London College of Fashion in collaboration with Kings’ College, London. Dr M has built on her scientific training and background with extensive experience working with a range of brands. This has led to a unique approach in helping brands to grow and thrive, by giving them access to help and support usually only reserved for larger businesses. Knowing that great compliance and quality support helps a brand to grow faster without hiccups or headaches, she identified one key insight. The best support is usually delivered by a large ‘in house’ team of toxicology, claims and regulatory experts. Smaller brands had previously had to rely on patchy consultation or manufacturer services, and the idea for PCR was born. A comprehensive compliance company which used the latest in data and IT to support a team of experts, offering end-to-end support for growing brands. She still believes that good compliance across claims, safety and quality are the foundations of a strong and differentiated brand. Dr M and her team have a shared passion for product safety, and delivering a service that gives peace of mind to ambitious brands.

Oxford High School

Oxford

elcome to our website and our history. Oxford High School (OHS) to its devotees is a place of scholarship and learning tempered by spirit, fun and community. Justifiably proud of its extraordinary academic outcomes, OHS is a place where young women are prepared for a world where they give back to others who have not had the same opportunities. A place where young women are prepared for the demands of the future, led by committed and dedicated staff absolutely devoted to their students’ wellbeing and achievement. The women who find their way here are curious, sparky and delight in challenge of any kind, whether it is joining the water polo club, singing opera for the first time or managing our very own hives of bees. Leadership opportunities abound and we are so proud that our students lead the school, put on world rivalling conferences, write to world leaders and enable opportunities for all those around us. We are also lucky enough to be in the heart of a city which thrives on curiosity and learning. That is reflected at OHS, where Academics come into school to demonstrate the accessibility of an academic career as well as share the excitement of challenging world constraints, whether forging ahead with a new vaccine (Dr Sarah Gilbert), working to ensure that everyone belongs in a diverse world (Aduke Onafowokan) or even managing a country in the middle of a pandemic (Jacinda Ardern). These are not leaders who speak to the school as requested by staff, but rather our students who are given the confidence and aspiration to put their dreams into action. Don’t make the mistake, however, of believing that OHS is purely academic; we, and the Girls’ Day School Trust, understand how high achieving women learn, thrive and flourish. The Trust enables our young people to access a network of over 25 other schools, conferences run by women for women across the country, and an astonishing alumnae network of over 70,000 former pupils who are extending a hand to help your daughter find her own place in the outside world. Our pastoral care nurtures our young women to ensure that they succeed at their pace. Despite being a bigger school, our staff are absolutely dedicated to the young women in their care, get to know them and their ways of learning and do all they can to support them. That does not mean we lower our expectations but rather extend the safety net to ensure they are lifted towards their dreams. Any website can only give you a flavour of what happens beyond the doors but I urge you to come in, meet me and our dedicated staff whether virtually or in ‘real life’, and, above all, enjoy the sparky, original, curious, lively young women who flourish and thrive here. I look forward to sharing with you the magic of opportunity, fun and spirit that pervades our school.
