east london research school
We are the Research School for East London. The foundations of our approach are
trust and collaboration. We are focused on using evidence is to improve the life
chances of children and young people in East London, and beyond. Our team
developed Manor Park Talks, the EEF-funded programme to improve children’s early
communication. This has grown into Newham Communication Project, an
evidence-informed programme involving more than 40 early years settings and
schools. We working on this in partnership with the UCL Institute of Education,
the World’s Number One university for education, and with the New Vision English
Hub. We are currently working on a major new programme focused on helping young
children to learn about maths through picture books, with the support of the
London North East Maths Hub.
