The Macedonian Community Welfare Association (MCWA) is a statewide
not-for-profit community based organization. Our aim is to provide a high
quality and culturally sensitive service to the aging, elderly and people with
disabilities of Victoria and provide wellness and re-enablement services through
best practice and compliance. MCWA was pioneered by Mr George Kostrevski in
1983, after he identified a strong need to provide welfare services to the
Macedonian speaking community in Victoria. Today, MCWA responds to the growing
welfare-based needs of the wider community by providing services that focus on
developing client care relationships based on cultural expertise that our
customers know, love and are comfortable with. Through our trusted programs and
with the dedicated support of our team members, we are able to build a culture
of respect and diversity within the community, and give everyone the opportunity
to experience a meaningful and fulfilling life. We are the leading service
provider for the promotion of health and wellbeing in the Macedonian community
and our plans intend to engage the wider community through partnership
opportunities
