From the Elevator Programme and Academic Accelerators to our sector specific programmes for creatives, company creative programmes for the energy and sustainable mobility industries to our rural offering – there is something for everyone. We deliver vibrant and inspiring business support to nearly 40% of Scotland’s start-ups - covering both rural and urban space. The largest provider of Business Gateway services in Scotland, we deliver support across Aberdeen, Dundee, Angus, Perth and Lanarkshire. In addition, we have a network of Business Centres, providing flexible, professional office space at 21 different locations across the North of Scotland. These offer valuable community workspaces containing a mixture of small businesses, training and meeting facilities. Our vision for Scotland is clear - a national, connected approach that will stimulate and support the development of an innovative, pioneering, progressive and entrepreneurial society. Inova has been running since 2001 and provides consultancy services, training and coaching programmes in the areas of entrepreneurship, employability, career development and wellbeing, with a focus on diversity and equal opportunities. We work with a wide target group for which we provide a variety of training and support programmes. Much of our work focuses on supporting those who are under-represented or who face challenges to fulfil their potential, and many of these are co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. Our funded programmes have helped many of those who are most vulnerable, including migrants, NEET young people, older people and women who have been victims of violence, trafficking, homelessness or abuse, to name a few. We have worked extensively with entrepreneurs, artists and women in non-traditional fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM). Our director, Marina Larios, is president of WiTEC, the European Association of Women in SET. Our programmes use coaching and mentoring to support individuals to develop their ‘soft skills’, build confidence and self-efficacy and reflect on and achieve their goals. Our in-house trainers have over 50 years of experience between them and can provide one to one coaching, workshops and Enterprise/Career/Mentoring and Mindfulness Circles™. Our Circles are a series of products developed by Inova which combine mentoring, coaching and action learning to support individuals to reflect on and develop either a new or existing business, change or progress in their career or consider their personal life goals. This methodology was recognised by Aberdeen University business academics as a successful programme for the development of entrepreneurial skills and they have since been adapted to support many other people in different areas of life.

Abbey College Manchester is an independent sixth form college situated on Cheapside in Manchester city centre. Most of our 220 students study A-Levels, GCSEs or one of our International Foundation Programme pathways. We also offer a unique alternative to A-Levels called the Combined Studies Programme which provides an alternative pathway to UK Universities for British Students. Another exciting and popular programme of study is the Academic Studies with Football or Basketball Training, which offers the students the opportunity to combine GCSE, A-Level or the International Foundation Programme study with their passion for sport. We strongly believe that the discipline of sport helps support academic study in the form of the 5 Rs; Routine, Rigour, Responsibility, Resilience and Reflection. We offer a friendly, safe, supportive environment where students can achieve their goals and move on to their chosen university.
