A very warm welcome to The King’s School, a unique environment in which children
can thrive and grow both spiritually and academically. Here childhood is valued
and treasured, and God is firmly at the centre of all that we do. This is a
place where children can develop a strong sense of identity and destiny, secure
in who they are and looking confidently to the future. I have worked here since
2000 and have come to appreciate the great benefits of our school in that time.
With both the Primary and Secondary Schools on one site we see ourselves as one
family, and it is that strength of relationships between staff, pupils and
parents, creating a safe, happy and peaceful environment, which is regularly
commented on by people visiting us for the first time. Our small class sizes
ensure that every child is known and valued and that their individual needs can
be met, stretching and supporting as appropriate. There are many opportunities
for children to contribute to the life of the school, developing their gifts and
abilities, growing in confidence and character. However, there is no substitute
for visiting us yourself. I would be delighted to meet you personally and take
