This module provides an overview of the individual Conduct Rules introduced by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) - the UK's financial services regulators - which initially came into effect progressively between 2016 and 2021. The rules are part of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), a package of measures that represent a fundamental change in the way in which individuals working within the UK financial services sector are held to account by the regulators.
