The Customer Factor

the customer factor

The Customer Factor was launched in 2004 by our CEO and President, Steve Wright. He owned a window cleaning business at the time and was tired of messing around with index cards and the manual follow up process. Follow up is important but having to sift through index cards all the time just wasn’t fun and was a huge time waster! So The Customer Factor got its start primarily as a way to automate the follow up processes in Steve’s own business. There simply wasn’t any any other program available at the time that automated the process. From those humble beginnings in 2004 we have grown to the point where The Customer Factor is now simplifying and streamlining service businesses all over the world. The Future… Have we finished building? Not a chance! We’re building out our infrastructure now to handle the growth and as technology gets introduced we’re latching on to it if it makes sense for our user base. And we all know the future is mobile, so our iOS and Android apps are growing with new features constantly. New Features are also being introduced into the software almost weekly. Software, if done correctly, is never “finished”. We take this literally. We don’t wait months or a year to introduce an update. That’s nutty. We work on features 6 days a week, so when a feature is completed, we upload it right away so that our users can benefit from it. If you ask around or talk to another current user of The Customer Factor, chances are one of the things they’ll say is “They’re always adding new features”. So…the future is bright at the offices of The Customer Factor. We’ll be here for you today, tomorrow, next month, next year, and 20 years from now. We’re not going anywhere. We’re having too much fun and we know you will too. So come on in and join us. Your business will thank you for it! Have any questions? Check out our FAQs or Contact us.

ZunTold is an independent publishing company, based in Manchester, focusing on publishing good fiction to support mental health and wellbeing. We publish Middle Grade and YA fiction and love working with established voices as well as debut authors. Our authors have been nominated for literary prizes, including the Carnegie Medal, and won prestigious awards too, like the Lancashire Book of the Year Award, chosen solely by young people aged 13-14 years of age. We work with agented authors but twice a year, (in June for YA and in December for Middle Grade) we open our doors to authors who do not have an agent. We do not publish picture books as we don’t have the expertise to do so. We publish in print, e-book and interactive books. We run a programme we call Fiction as Therapy. Our staff are publishing professionals, writers, editors, counsellors and psychotherapists who have also trained in Therapeutic Writing. Books are 'healers for the soul' and creative writing brings many health benefits. Our Fiction as Therapy service offers a therapeutic programme of bibliotherapy across different age audiences and creative writing for therapeutic purposes, for young people and adults looking to support their mental and physical health and wellbeing. There is a growing evidence base that therapeutic writing and bibliotherapy can support people with long term physical health conditions as well as improving mental health. We are building links with NHS Trusts and Social Care providing an online library and blended services of tailored support to individuals and communities.

Yoga360 & Meditation with Simon Hoten

Yoga360 with Simon Hoten (pronounced Yoga three sixty) creates yoga practices, classes, workshops and retreats. As the number 360 reflects the number of degrees in a full or whole circle, Yoga360 reflects a focus on the whole person.   Founder: Simon Hoten I have been practising & studying yoga since 2003 and teaching since 2010. As a yoga teacher I am British Wheel of Yoga accredited. I am also a qualified meditation teacher and certified iRest™ Teacher (iRest yoga nidra / Guided meditation) I started my personal meditation practise with a 10 day silent Vipassana meditation retreat in New Zealand in March 2003. Following this revelatory experience, I went to my first yoga class a few days later, with the primary intention of improving my flexibility so that I could sit more comfortably during meditation. However at my very first class I became intrigued about the physical yoga practise as well as meditation and this soon developed into the passion that it is today. My teaching style is one of emphasis on the breath, healthy alignment, flow of movement, building strength & flexibility, whilst also giving an opportunity for deep relaxation. I aim for all my classes to be open and friendly whilst also being focused. I am very keen in sharing the benefits of private / one on one teaching, having personally seen the depth in my own practise develop following such a setting. As a yoga teacher I come with 25 years of experience of a fast-paced, city working-life and all the pressures, expectations and challenges that this lifestyle brings. I have seen the positives that yoga can bring first hand including supporting improved focus and energy as well as helping alleviate symptoms of stress and supporting improved sleep patterns particularly after long periods of travelling. With a regular asana practise, I have also significantly benefited from improved posture, flexibility and movement in my body where there were restrictions, particularly following the effects of a severe femur fracture in my 20's and subsequent 12 month recovery period in hospital.
