I’m a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, with 11 years experience in Acute NHS Inpatient Physiotherapy. I studied Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2009, and I have since worked locally across a number of acute NHS Trusts. I have a breadth of experience across clinical areas including acute medicine, respiratory, stroke, frailty, trauma & orthoapedics, surgery, neurological rehabilitation and A&E. Alongside my clinical work I have undertaken a post graduate degree in healthcare leadership, worked alongside local universities to review physiotherapy programme quality, provided guest lectures, and completed a coaching and service improvement qualification. All in all a busy 11 years!

Following graduation from the University of Manchester I worked at the London Children’s Practice in Central London as part of a multidisciplinary team working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Educational Psychologists to deliver assessment as well as individual and group therapy. Since then, I have worked for the NHS in a number of settings including, East London Foundation Trust, Wiltshire NHS and Oxfordshire NHS Foundation Trust whilst also running So To Speak private practice. I aim to bring enthusiasm, encouragement and patience to my therapy sessions alongside excellent clinical skills. I live in Cherhill with my husband, three small children and our border terrier called Elliedog. I am DBS cleared and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health Care Professionals Council.

I am proud to be leading such a great school where our vision and values are centred on supporting all young people to exceed beyond their potential. I am a mindfulness and yoga teacher with over 15 years’ experience working in facilitation, personal development, training design and delivery, coaching and wellbeing. I teach yoga, mindfulness and stress management techniques to help people thrive, especially when life is complex and demanding. My passion is helping people live happy and fulfilling lives, do what they love, and make a difference in the world. We all face challenges in a fast-paced world. I work to create moments of stillness and connection that allow you space to breathe and just be. From this place you are free to think clearly and get your life working in the way you want. Whether working with individuals, groups or corporate clients, compassion is at the heart of what I do. I believe that self-care can be a radical act that transforms our relationship to the world and our place within it, through nurture, rest and deep healing. I know that profound change can happen kindly, through thoughtful enquiry and values-based action. My work is grounded in the integrity of many years of personal practice, study and experience. This in turn supports the values-driven foundation for my work in social and educational inclusion, with a particular focus on equality and inclusion in higher education. I also have experience in facilitating learning across a wide range of settings including schools, universities and workplaces.
