Shinawatra University (SIU) is an international university. Founded in 1999, it
was established in response to the current need to educate young people to keep
pace with global trends and rapid changes in work culture, thinking and ways of
doing things. To achieve these goals, the university places emphasis on the
selection of faculty, buildings, dormitories, libraries and communication
networks so that learning facilities, including the learning environment, can
promote a learning atmosphere; the university currently has students and staffs
from more than 30 countries. This diversity greatly facilitates the exchange of
philosophies and ideas across cultures and within the community.
