Karen studied English Literature at University many years ago. She loves writing, reading and poetry, and she often finds inspiration for yoga classes in poems and quotations. Karen loves teaching people in all stages of life how to relax and feel better. She is also in her element supporting pregnant women and new mums. Karen Lawrence holds a Yoga Alliance recognised specialist qualification as a Yin and Restorative Yoga Instructor. She has also completed full training recognised by the Federation of Antenatal Educators which qualifies her to teach Pregnancy, Postnatal and Mother and Baby Yoga. Karen is a qualified professional Reflexologist, specialising in holistic therapy for pregnancy, menopause and women’s health. The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. EFSAF was formed as a company limited by Guarantee in May 2007 The prime objective of the Fund is to provide assistance in cash and kind to female students at Addis Ababa University and other Ethiopian universities. The main selection criterion is that the students original home is situated outside of the Addis Ababa municipality. Ethiopia is a huge country with restricted communications and many students are effectively deprived of the support of their families during the period of their studies. Although the government pays for tuition and provides accommodation and food, the students experience difficulty in funding essential outlays such as soap and stationery. The charity recognises the particular vulnerability of female students.

Stuart is an improv coach with more than a decade of experience. Prior to moving to Middlesbrough, he was the artistic director of Prague’s Script for Brains company. He’s also been an instructor at Cheltenham’s Comic Sans Script, as well as a founding member (showing his age here…) of The University of York’s The Shambles. Stuart is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants to learn improv, hone their performance skills, and above all; just have fun! He believes that improv is a learned skill like times tables or riding a bike. You might be nervous or you might be a natural, but with the right support, everyone can become skilled in improv comedy.

Ealing School of Languages was established in July 2010. Our tutors are fully qualified native speakers with a great deal of teaching experience of up to 20 years. Most tutors are former university teachers and are actively involved in higher and further education institutions in the UK. In partnership with Ealing Hammersmith & West London College and Ealing Council Adult Learning Service we offer courses in 10 languages: Arabic, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish. Most of our courses are 10 week long. We aim to teach languages in a creative, interactive and fun way allowing students to learn whilst having an enjoyable time. Our lessons are based in real life tasks and situations.
