We work with Schools to develop a customised annual programme for Future Readiness that includes Teachers, Students and the Parents, thereby ensuring that the school is a QAI Certified Future Ready School. All stakeholders undertake a self-analysing Future Readiness Index questionnaire. The outcome is then analysed and additional inputs taken from the school basis which a specific and focused programme is developed. Activities are mapped to the research-based Future Readiness Framework developed by QAI linked to which is the Future Readiness Index. Perry Foundation allocates most of its income to funding postgraduate studentships intended to be of benefit to UK agriculture, but also gives smaller awards for other relevant projects. The Foundation's Chairman is Scott Norris, an Essex farmer, graduate of Nottingham University and Nuffield Scholar. The members of the Board of Trustees are people who have wide experience in food and farming matters. Perry Foundation is pleased to report that it has also appointed two Patrons, Lord Boswell and Dr Ian Macpherson, both of whom were former Board members. In 2002, an initiative by Dr Ian Macpherson, supported by Sir Don Curry, led to the establishment of the Agrifood Charities Partnership (AFCP) to improve the effectiveness of charities in the food and farming sectors.
