Precision Pilates studio opened in December 2020. Founder Amber Edenbrow had dreamt of opening a Pilates / Wellbeing studio for many years. Amber first started her Pilates business in September 2016 running classes in local village halls and community centres. After several years of looking for a dedicated studio space, Abacus House (former betting shop) proved the ideal location. Having grown up in the area, Amber was keen for her business to provide service to the residents of Corsham and surrounding towns & villages. The studio opened its doors in May 2021 following the global pandemic and national lockdown. Our dedicated studio allows us to be able to offer fully comprehensive Pilates teaching including the use of the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Tower, Pilates Wunda Chair and Arc barrel for our private and duet sessions. along with our many group based mat classes. We have now created a calm light and airy studio that is open to everyone. The studio is fitted with an air filtration system so that clients can feel comfortable and safe.

I have practised yoga for over two decades and was totally hooked after my very first class. It was a complete revelation! I walked out of that class like I had woken up and seen things clearly for the first time. My whole body felt free, I was relaxed and could not get over how great I felt. I remember going to work the next day and telling a colleague that I felt "big" (in a good way). This feeling was my energy being released to flourish from whatever trapped state it had been in. My passion for yoga grew as did my personal well-being, and in 2005 when I was given an opportunity to teach, I jumped at the chance. I completed my yoga teacher training with The Devon School of Yoga and then went on to qualify as a Yoga Therapist, certified by Real Yoga, in 2012. I am registered with the Complimentary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC). I am also a Meditation Teacher, having completed my training with Swami Saradananda. I have attended many short courses and workshops with Yoga Campus, London. These courses have been based around many aspects of yoga, the musculoskeletal system and the "correction" of bodily imbalances, which may be prominent due to general wear and tear or injury. I have also completed courses on restorative and relaxation practices, Pranayama and the history of yoga as well as a short Sanskrit course! I teach several general classes online via Zoom and offer in person or online one or two to one sessions at Sharon Gisbourne Yoga. I also run a specialist online chair based class for those who may need a more adapted approach to yoga. Working therapeutically with people one to one online may not be suitable for all conditions, but if you would like further details see the Yoga Therapy page for more details. I have experience of many styles of yoga and have spent time in India to gain knowledge of these various approaches. I like to apply myself with a holistic and eclectic approach that takes in not only the physical but also the more subtle aspects that yoga has to offer. However, although I always present myself as professionally as possible, I do like to keep everything light hearted and have fun at the same time. I have completed my training with Sheila Whittaker and I am now offering sound therapy in the form of gong baths. These are offered as private sessions and I also run group sessions. I set up my workshop in 1983 after leaving the Royal College of Art. In 1990 I established my studio in Model House Craft and Design Centre in Llantrisant. I work primarily in anodised aluminium producing one off and batch production jewellery. As the material is light and not too expensive I can make large, bold pieces which are both wearable and affordable. Most importantly, by anodising it, I can achieve bright and brilliant colour effects. My passions My three passions are colour, pattern and technique. I love making things and exploring the possibilities of different materials. Although I trained as a jeweller, my work has been heavily influenced by both traditional and contemporary textiles. Over the last twenty years I have also been developing work in felt. I combine this with my jewellery practice to create both functional pieces and work that is purely decorative. My creative ancestry inspires me Much of my recent work has evolved from looking back at my creative ancestry. It was my grandmothers who initiated my fascination with making objects. They passed on their traditional textile skills and started my passion for creating anything from colourful materials. In 2010, I received an Arts Council of Wales grant to help me purchase a laser cutter which enabled me to develop new work. I have used this to explore different materials such as taffeta, acrylic, cardboard and wood. This has opened up many exciting possibilities and I feel I have only just started this journey. I am involved in many craft groups and associations. I am regional co-ordinator and Chair of the International Feltmakers Association. I am a member of the Makers Guild in Wales, of the Association of Contemporary Jewellery and of MaP, a textile group. I have exhibited widely in the UK, Europe, Japan, USA and Canada.

Broomfields Youth Project (BYP) is a multi award-winning voluntary Christian youth work partnership that seeks to be a signpost and support for young people. Being part of the local community, and working in partnership with multiple agencies, BYP look to support ANY 13-17 year olds in our local community to support and signpost young people who want help with emotional and mental health needs. BYP's aim is to welcome, value and reflect the love we have been shown to the young people who come to us. We want all young people to feel like they belong and have a purpose. The 'Shack' youth centre was built to allow BYP to develop beyond our original Friday night intervention work, by creating a space where deeper relationships can encourage change. We now focus much of our resource around supporting and leading Bridgewater High with their work in the areas of mental and emotional wellbeing. Since BYP's inception in Nov 2009 the local Police stats have shown a consistent reductions in anti-social behaviour in the area.
