About : I'm Murron Fraser , an artist and printed textile surface designer /
teacher based in Manchester in the North west of England. I take inspiration
from a variety of places one being nature, translating its forms and natural
beauty into original artwork, applied textiles, embroidery and surface print
design. After gaining a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Textiles and Surface design, I
began designing my own collections as well as working freelance on design
projects and collaborating with museums on heritage projects. As well as being a
designer, I am also a qualified teacher and teach art and textile courses within
the community and educational settings. I also run my own workshops on a range
