For a number of years she worked as a policy, compliance, marketing and funding advisor to a successful federation of 3 – 18 academies; setup and managed their central admissions dept and successfully presented over 2000 appeals. Since becoming a consultant in 2015 she has supported a number of schools with advice and guidance on school admission and appeals compliance, clerks school appeals and presented at a number of conference events. She has a pool of independent school admission appeal panellist which she has trained to ensure that appeals are carried out within the statutory regulations. She is also a Chair of Governors for a primary school and a member of the Croydon School forum.

To collaborate with, like-minded organisations to positively influence youth mental health and wellbeing education in the national curriculum and to create a platform for young people to become mental health and wellbeing advocates to work within their own communities to help eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health.

A qualified trainer since 2002, Lucy has experience working in research and teaching (universities of Aberdeen and Hertfordshire) and supporting the sector in their international ambitions from roles working for the British Council. It was working to develop leaders across UK and 9 countries in Near East and North Africa that re-engaged Lucy with her passion for training and development and led to the creation of elembee.

I am proud to be leading such a great school where our vision and values are centred on supporting all young people to exceed beyond their potential. Based within our Community Campus, working together for better outcomes is a priority and I see this every day in action where we know, and are proud of, our students. Our Pre-School was opened in September 2013 and extended in 2017 to accommodate 30 hours funding. The building was purpose built and designed to ensure that we provide a happy and nurturing environment where children can learn through play whilst having lots of fun. We treat each child as an individual who has needs that should be met in an atmosphere that celebrates diversity. We will nurture your child’s social and emotional needs. We want children, parents and staff to learn together and for all to develop to their maximum potential. Our aim is to provide the first steps of learning for our youngest children. We want to work in partnership with families to provide high quality education which is fun, creative and motivating. Our website is designed to share as much as we can with you. If you wish to have a look round or require any further information please don’t hesitate to contact us via The Hall School Office. We receive Nursery Education Funding (FEEE) for 3 and 4 year olds. This means that the term after a child is 3 he/she will be entitled to between 15-30 hours free sessions per week for 38 weeks per year. The Pre-School is closed during the school holidays. Our Pre-School is registered and inspected by Ofsted. We are registered to take 60 children at each session and we offer lunch time cover too. We are more than happy to discuss eligibility. Please contact The Hall School office for further information. Applications are accepted from April for the next academic year and are available on our website and via the school office.
