Watford

Welcome to The Actor's Cafe. We provide expert, concise acting tuition from experienced teachers who are also industry professionals. The courses support students to develop in their ability to create truthful acting performances. As a natural result of exploring the craft of acting - students learn more about themselves through character exploration, and so a natural bi-product of the course is the growth of the students self-development. We also provide students with opportunities to meet with professional creatives, who have been known to collaborate with our students on various acting projects including commercials, film and short films. The actor's cafe also provides opportunities to be involved with it's own Spotlight accredited productions for theatre and film. Please see our testimonials below to find our more from our students and professional guests. We would like to warmly welcome you to The Actor's Cafe by offering you a completely free taster session. Stop Hurt at Work (part of Conduct Change)

stop hurt at work (part of conduct change)

Stop Hurt at Work is the campaign through which Conduct Change upholds its clear commitment to its social purpose. Our mission is to end workplace bullying through the development of meaningful prevention activities for organisations and the implementation of effective routes to redress for individuals.C Campaign for change [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/stophurtatwork-legislation] We are campaigning for formal recognition of workplace bullying as a problem that injures individuals and damages organisations. The law does not provide sufficient protection or redress for people whose employers let bullying go unchecked, making the process of seeking legal remedy in these cases unduly complex and arduous. We are working with lawyers and legislators to identify and close the gaps in legislation. Awareness raising [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/webinars-podcasts] From a foundation of research into new approaches and awareness raising, we are creating proposals for change to both workplace approaches and to legislation. We share and showcase news and progress through newsletters, webinars [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/webinars-podcasts], podcasts [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/webinars-podcasts], events and social media. Research [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/research] We select topics for research which concern any type of harassment and also bullying.  Our research ultimately focuses on workplace effects and is concerned with adults. We are willing to use a variety of methods - case studies, questionnaires and interviews, for example. We expect all our research to be of international standard and publishable.  However we are willing to undertake confidential research which may not be published.  We also partner with Speak Out Revolution who collect anonymous data on workplace bullying globally.  You can add your experience here [https://www.stophurtatwork.org/speakout]

Rachel Harriet Coaching

I pride myself on professionalism and diligence in all that I do. In the last 7 years, altering my mindset has totally changed all aspects of my life for the better. With a background in the corporate tech sector, I had always worked in a very male dominated environment. I was really ambitious, and keen to get ahead at work, but often felt I struggled to be taken seriously. I battled with feeling frustrated - because I knew I had so much to add, but daren't speak up. I feared everyone's eyes turning to me, and the pressure would feel unbearable. This knocked my confidence and I realised I needed to do something about it, to take control back of my own destiny. At this point I discovered lots of different podcasts that really helped to shift my perspectives, and through this found the coach I worked with for the first time which was a total game changer for me. I gradually grew in confidence and began to recognise the value I brought to the table. This helped me to articulate myself a lot better, and I worked on improving my communication skills which enabled me to finally progress in the organisation I worked for at the time. I reached a certain point in my career where I realised I owed so much to my personal transformation. I discovered that my passion was now reaching other women and supporting them to unlock their inevitable potential! Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. There have been so many steps that I nearly didn't take through fear, self-doubt and feelings of unworthiness. Trust me when I say, it truly is doing the thing that scares you most that opens the most valuable doors.
