Established in 1996, SWAMP is a forward-thinking Community Development Trust and registered charity, using accredited training, outreach, film, music, digital technologies, gardening and the creative arts to enable and empower social change. SWAMP enhances cultural awareness, promotes social inclusion and builds community spirit within the locality, and has been successfully sustaining this for over two decades. During this time we have taken a dilapidated building within our community and redeveloped it, and are now planning another move to new premises. We strongly believe in the model of inclusion through creation, and work collaboratively with children, young people, older people and communities to achieve our aims; predominantly, but not exclusively, with vulnerable groups. We consider the arts, community involvement and accrediting training to be positive tools for change, helping people to: Build confidence and attain new skills Get back into work or education Source work in the creative arts Enjoy better health or simply improve quality of life SWAMP was one of the first organisations in Glasgow to use creative media, digital arts and new technologies as tools for community engagement, cross-referencing them to skills and learning, and later adopting the Curriculum for Excellence approach into our programmes. Through our accredited training programmes we provide young people with the skills and attributes they need to successfully make the life transition from school to employment or further education, supporting them to better understand their local environment, and encouraging them to engage in the process of lifelong learning and active citizenship. Our bespoke programmes and projects are designed and planned with the learner very much at the heart of the process and our objectives continue to focus on developing the skills of young people to become successful learners in life and work. SWAMP places innovation, enterprise and creativity alongside outstanding delivery, sound management and a strong ethos of partnership to tackle society’s big issues. Our mission and values fit well with the strategic objectives of the Scottish Government and local government priorities, and have developed strong working relationships with key partners operating within the area of youth employment, education and development.

Magenta Occupational Therapy is an independent occupational therapy practice based in the West Midlands, owned and operated by Louise Baudet. Louise graduated with a first class Honours degree in Occupational Therapy, with a special interest in working with children and young adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as neurological difficulties. She has worked extensively with children with special needs providing assessments and interventions, as well as reports for EHCP's, DLA/PIP applications etc. Her career includes working for the NHS, as well as the private sector, third tier organisations and also education. This has included a range of settings including Tier 4 inpatient, community, education, Crisis, Eating Disorders, Psychosis and young people with trauma and attachment. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist in both mental health and paediatrics. Louise is registered with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC) and also a Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy. She is also a member of the Sensory Integration Network and the Association for Psychological Therapies. Louise has also undertaken extensive post registration approved, validated and certified training in the following areas : * Drawing and Talking Therapy * Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Level 2) * Sleep Practitioner Training and CBT-i * Counselling * Sensory Integration * Eating Disorders * Autism and ADHD * NVR (Non Violent Resistance) parenting approach * Mindfullness * Life Coaching Louise has a current enhanced DBS check Louise Baudet On a personal level, Louise has personal experience of disability as a mom. Her personal journey bringing up her own children led her to set up the North Warwickshire Special Needs Support Group (now called Embrace Special Needs Friendship Group), and a Special Needs Toy Library as featured on BBC Children in Need. She continues to do voluntary work to support children and families. Louise has also been a School Governor and worked within education, bringing a knowledgeable perspective to her work when working with schools. She understands many of the challenges and perspectives faced by children, young people and families on a day to day basis. When working with families she advocates a strengths based approach through her work, to ensure that a childs' positive qualities are used as a firm foundation for their future.

Government College, Hisar is a premier higher education institution of Government of Haryana. It is a prestigious college established in 1950 and has continuously been maintaining its heritage of providing quality education to students since then. The Film and Video Workshop is an educational charity founded in June 1997 by Simon Oatley. Our objective is the education of adults, children and young people in the art of film, video and other types of media. We aim to work particularly with those people who are in need by reason of disability, age or economic circumstance. The company has grown steadily since its formation and is now the largest producer of child and young people directed moving image work in the United Kingdom. Many of the films we have helped produce have been shown in international film festivals and some have won prestigious awards. Each year we work with approximately 1000 film makers and produce some 300 films. Past clients include Tate modern, Tate Britain, The National Portrait Gallery, Arts Council, Film London, Film Council, Skillset, Cartoon Museum, Learning and Skills Council, Tribal Education, London Development Agency, ten of the London councils, BBC, Channel 4 and Nickelodeon. Recent premiere screenings have been held at the London Imax Cinema and the Odeon West End. In addition we provide adult training, specialising in the creative use of digital technology. The current courses selection includes four video production courses, stop motion, animation techniques, after effects, Avid and FCP. We subsidise a selection of introduction courses to enable people to start filmmaking as well as provide CPD for professionals. All our courses have a 40% reduction for concessions. The media centre is open 6 days a week with over 80 weekly users. The company is managed by an unpaid board of directors to whom we are very grateful for their long standing support.
