Kintsugi Hope is a charity based in the UK striving to make a difference to peoples mental wellbeing. 'Kintsugi' (金継ぎ) is a Japanese technique for repairing pottery with seams of gold. The word means 'golden joinery' in Japanese. This repairs the brokenness in a way that makes the object more beautiful, and even more unique than it was prior to being broken. Instead of hiding the scars it makes a feature of them. We want to see a world where mental and emotional health is understood and accepted, with safe and supportive communities for everyone to grow and flourish.

We are the only family-run dive centre in Gloucestershire and to-date have trained over 9,500 divers and have sent more than 4,500 packing to exotic diving holiday destinations around the world. During our 30 years of service we have become a one-stop shop offering training, equipment sales, regulator and cylinder servicing, dry suit repairs, holidays and UK diving trips. At Ruskin Road Repair Cafe, we are committed to working with people to help them develop the skills to repair rather than replace broken or faulty consumer products, and keep them out of landfill. When you bring in an item which does not require professional expertise to safely fix, volunteer fixers will work with you to repair or maintain it, offering as much explanation or support as is necessary so that you can develop the confidence to try and fix the item yourself if it breaks again. Of course you are always welcome to come back again for more help! At a Repair Café there are the tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need. On clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, toys, et cetera. And there are also repair specialists such as electricians, seamstresses, carpenters and bicycle mechanics. Visitors bring their broken items from home. Together with the specialists they start making their repairs in the Repair Café. It’s an ongoing learning process. If you have nothing to repair, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Or you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair job. The Repair Café teaches people to see their possessions in a new light. And, once again, to appreciate their value. The Repair Café helps change people’s mindset. This is essential to kindle people’s enthusiasm for a sustainable society. But most of all, the Repair Café just wants to show how much fun repairing things can be, and how easy it often is.

Leadenham hockey club started in 2004 on a 5a-side football pitch in Leadenham. Now we are fielding 2 mens teams, 1 ladies team, several junior sides, an indoor mens team, and multiple mixed teams for competitions and tournaments. Players can start at the age of seven and we have yet to find a maximum age! Players come from all over the county, especially Sleaford, Grantham and the RAF bases. For the start of the 2019/2020 season Leadenham have moved training from RAF Cranwell back to the astro at Leadenham Village Hall, whilst we await lighting repairs at the RAF base. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and relaxed environment to enjoy playing hockey, developing skills and meeting new friends. There are many parents who, after watching their children come through the junior section, now take to the field on a Saturday alongside their kids in the senior teams. We are always welcoming of new players and any members who want to get involved with the running of the club so please get in touch if you would like to try playing, or helping out! During the summer months Leadenham are one of the most active clubs in the area, competing in various leagues and tournaments throughout the off-season. Whether it’s relaxed social sixes or competitive mixed tournaments you’ll find a range of hockey to suit your abilities. We also proudly boast to be the only team from Lincolnshire to regularly compete in the East Indoor Championships!

Established in 2015, by Scottish luthier Ian Dickinson, the workshop opened its doors on Argyle Street in Glasgows west end and quickly gained a reputation for quality repair work and fine hand crafted instruments. After 7 years it was time for a change and in spring of 2022 work began on a new workshop in the southside of Glasgow and was completed in August that year. Having joined forces with Isaac Kahir (Cranmer Guitars) the new workshop presents a change in both location and how the workshop operates. A co-operative venture between Ian and Isaac where they share the space and run their own businesses independently of each other along with long term bench space for another two luthiers.The following years were spent repairing and restoring instruments for various shops, studio and private customers whilst working as head technician for major Scottish based guitar manufacturer; this experience allowed me to start my own business and quickly gain loyal customers and a strong reputation The new workshop will see me focus on building more but i will still be doing plenty or repairs and if i have been looking after your guitars for a while then that will remain the same.
