Particular issues that Tower Hamlets faces include high levels of unemployment, disadvantage in income, health, housing and crime as well as recording one of the highest population densities in London. Poplar is one of the most deprived areas within Tower Hamlets. The Poplar Partnership is small charity set up to try and tackle these problems at their root, by helping fund and support early intervention projects within our community.

CCC have led community-focused workshops and murals for both the private and public sector. We've partnered with organisations like Newham Council, Populo Living, The Guinness Partnership, Peabody, Lewisham Homes, Eldon Primary School, The Hill Group, Poplar Harca Housing, Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, and Higgins Partnerships in order to bring together over 3000 people to paint, laugh, be creative, learn and make their space their own. CCC also prioritises providing creative opportunities for people with health conditions or impairments, such as Deafroots, in order to provide a safe, creative space for the deaf and hard of hearing. Our goal is to make art accessible to all and encourage individuals from all walks of life to discover their creative selves and express their culture and community through these workshops and community projects.

We aim to respond to what our clients require and have the flexibility to provide anything from a 30 minute team talk right through to a 6 day supervision skills course and anything else in between. We train after work, in the evenings and at weekends, where required, in your surroundings if you prefer. A full days training can be split into 2 consecutive half days if that better supports service delivery. We especially enjoy working long term with clients, undertaking a training needs analysis, then designing, delivering and evaluating our safeguarding solutions. This long term relationship develops trust, helps us to really understand how the organisation works and is very cost effective. Who We Work With We work in partnership with the NSPCC, Barnardos and Kidscape. We have had the pleasure to train colleagues working in GP practices, dental surgeries, housing associations, Social Workers, charities, health authorities, schools, nurseries, tourist attractions, counsellors and residential homes, university students and the Police.
