Schools spend over £2bn a year on agency staff, with over £600m per year of that spent on fees that go straight to the recruitment agencies. So far, we've saved UK schools over £3m in supply teaching recruitment costs, and that number grows every day, meaning the funding can be put back into education within the schools. Using our online platform, schools have access to hundreds of profiles of fully vetted teachers and support staff, who they can book at a click of a button. Think Uber for teachers. Building on the success of Zen Educate, in 2020 we launched Zen Locum — an online platform that matches locums (temporary workers) with pharmacies and opticians. With significant early traction we're looking to expand this team to continue driving growth. We're well-funded by high-profile investors and are led by start-up veterans behind two of London’s most prominent tech companies.

Surveys carried out by the founders of Merkinch Enterprise supported the above conclusions, and concluded that there was a need for a multi-pronged strategy in order to achieve the aims of the organisation. Our strategy is based on four threads - attraction of investment into Merkinch, creation of jobs, providing childcare at a reasonable cost and training the local population in skills currently required by employers. In 1994 local people were given a chance to take part in business planning courses, which led to several viable ideas for businesses that could be set up in Merkinch by the population. From these business plans, three subsidiary organisations have been formed, these being the Merkinch Technology & Training Centre, aiming to bring money into the organisation and the area; the Fliperz childcare centre, providing childcare for working parents, or parents undertaking training; and the News & Views community newsletter, distributed free to all households and businesses in Merkinch every month, as well as various organisations throughout Inverness.

Kelly has worked internationally in various fields of nursing for over 30 years. After taking a Bachelors Degree in Nursing in Canada, Kelly worked in Vancouver, Canada and Bremen, Germany before moving to the USA to work as a travel nurse, and later settling and working in Los Angeles, California. From there, Kelly moved to Europe in 1999 to take a Masters Degree in Nutrition at King's College London, after which she worked as a research nurse in academia as well as the NHS. For the last sixteen years, Kelly has led a team of research nurses, first in Cambridge, and latterly in London, working in the field of clinical research. Clinfield came about as a result of Kelly's desire to bring greater 'meaning' to the role of clinical researcher nurse and practitioner. She believes that developing clinical researchers would benefit patients and the healthcare system while bringing greater job satisfaction to those drawn to improving care through research.

As a classically trained chef from the Arts Institute of Seattle, Nichola brings the culinary expertise that is second to none. Furthermore, Nichola regularly pushes the boundaries of her discipline and has won numerous awards at internationally recognised events as well as most recently another Great Taste Gold Star Award in 2020.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Construction Wales Innovation Centre Scaffolding Academy. What is CWIC Scaffolding Academy? The University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Construction Wales Innovation Centre (CWIC) is delivering training at its new £1.5m Scaffolding Academy in Swansea. Led by CWIC and funded by the Construction Industry Training Board Wales (CITB), the new Academy is located at a purpose-developed facility on Ffordd Amazon off Fabian Way in Swansea Bay. A range of courses are being delivered locally to meet the needs of the construction industry – this will also mean that students based in Wales and wishing to gain extensive scaffolding training will no longer have to travel to England or beyond to acquire a full set of skills. The existing building has been refurbished to CISRS requirements and has an internal floor area of around 2,000 square meters comprising nine training bays and four dedicated classrooms, one with IT facilities.

Chorley Gymnastics club provide a child-centered, coach-led program that is adapted to suit the needs of each gymnast on an individual basis. We cater for gymnasts from beginner level to competition level. Gymnasts are taught in small groups with others of a similar age and ability. We are affiliated to IGA, where part of our gymnastics program involves gymnasts working towards their UK/IGA awards. Our qualified coaches are extremely experienced in their field of general gymnastics and acrobatics. They are fully insured to coach and are DBS cleared. Here at Chorley Gymnastics Club the aim is to provide a safe, effective and child-friendly environment in which members can participate in gymnastics under the guidance of appropriately qualified coaches. We operate an open door policy and welcome the support of parents and guardians. Chorley Gymnastics Club are proud to work in connection with Chorley Borough Council to provide children’s gymnastics classes from Clayton Green Sports Centre.
