Lainey helps build confidence in performers enabling them to overcome stage fright, create a stage persona, have free performance movement, be more equipped for life in the music industry and build a social media presence. Vox Stars is an inclusive learning environment. Therefore, Lainey aims to help students of various learner styles and abilities. She also strives to build learner strategies for those with special educational needs such as dyslexia. Lessons will enable you to have fun, fall in love with the vocal instrument and help you reach for the stars! Vox Stars also offer 5 star rated workshops , they focus on a variety of exhilarating themes from Disney to Pop stars. Event days include a room draped in themed decor, action packed singing and dancing activities to brilliant music, fun drama and performance explorations, exciting games and themed crafts. To make the day extra awesome we provide prizes and party bags, refreshments and snacks, and area for parents to relax with hot drinks and nibbles. Alex has also taught Dance GCSE at Weobley High School for the past 8 years, and will be continuing to develop the subject within the school over the next few years. Over the last 5 years Alex has lead Aspire Dance Studio to success at Worcester Festival and Gloucester Festivals where a number of dancers have qualified for championships and won many medals in both senior and junior age ranges. Her family relocated to Gloucester in 1986 and she enrolled at Gloucester Dance Studio where she continued her training in B.B.O Ballet, Modern and Tap until she was sixteen. She then attended Performers College in Essex and completed a three year full-time course in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, gaining her Associate teaching certificates in I.S.T.D. Modern, Tap, Jazz and Ballet. Penny also choreographs festival solos and group pieces. Penny has danced professionally in cabaret in London’s West End and performed at various famous locations including Wembley Stadium, the London Palladium and Her Majesty’s Theatre. Penny returned to Gloucester in 2001 and has been dance teaching around the county ever since. She has also continued to attend further teacher training and lectures in order to keep her qualifications up to date. Penny joined the faculty of Aspire Dance Studios in January 2012 and is excited and proud to be part of a young, vibrant and talented school. Carlisle Snow sports club can offer skiing lessons for children, adults, groups and private lessons. ABOUT OUR SLOPE! The main slope is designed for day and night skiing, equipped with flood lights, sprinkler system and ski tow. It has slalom markers for all the racers and a small set of bumps for the more adventurous skiers. LOCATION Carlisle Snow sports club is situated in the grounds of Carlisle cricket club, Eden side CA3 9NS. We have our own club house and car park with disabled access. All our instructors for scheduled and or private lessons are fully BASI and or CASI/CSIA qualified to ensure high quality in every lesson taught at our slope. We believe that the best way for snow sports skills to grow and develop are to keep our lessons fun, relaxed and exciting!

AQUAnimals founder Shirley Rush started the swim school back in 2015. The swim school was hiring private pools around South Norfolk and welcomed her sister Katie to offer more lessons but found more and more that availability was limited, pools varied in cost, depth/temperature/parking availability etc yet our demand was incredibly high. In 2017 we decided to start looking for another venue that could occupy a modern, fresh swim school. We found Rookery Business Park just a mile outside Attleborough. Not only were these new well insulated buildings with solar panels supplying power, it has easy access to the A11 and pretty central for most of our existing clients. Shirley drew a sketch of the layout she felt would work and architects brought it to life in literally an hour & a half! With plans in hand and a leap of faith we applied to Breckland Council and we were a step closer to freedom! Planning permission was granted just 5 weeks after submission and 3 days later we were in the building marking the floors with what would be our changing rooms & showers! Our very own premises, state of the art pool, purpose built and all brand new. We worked really hard and were so excited to be bring lessons to life on 18th September 2017. Three months after sitting with the architect. We’ve expanded hugely since 2017; a 400% increase in numbers, we now have 7 instructors teaching 7 days a week, we provide the curriculum swimming lesson provision for four local schools, became an approved Training Centre so we can host courses & CPDs, hire the pool privately for exclusive use, holiday courses etc. And we love it! Come and join us today, make magical moments, enhance their development and learn lifesaving skills that will last forever. Simply put, swimming with AQUAnimals gives your children the opportunity to learn essential developmental and safety skills for life.

In 2016, I began offering workshops in my studio, located just outside of Coggeshall and a few miles from Colchester. The converted barn provides a creative and supportive hub where I teach groups of up to twelve. Many of my structured textile workshops are taught across one or two days, but I do provide longer, design oriented textile courses and I mentor several groups on an ongoing basis. As my background is in creative textiles all the workshops I offer both in the studio and as a visiting tutor involve free motion embroidery with a design approach. More recently I have begun to take on other textile tutors and I now can offer a much larger range of textile courses including dressmaking, pattern cutting, felting, modern patchwork & Quilting as well as hand embroidery and decorative textiles. As well as textiles I have expanded the workshop itinerary and now offer illustration, lino printing, fused glass and silver clay jewellery on a regular basis with local, fabulous tutors. I hope that regardless of what experience level you have, you will still find something to suit you. So whether you are a beginner or more advanced in your chosen craft, take a look at the full range of workshops available. If you are unsure as to whether you will be able fully participate in a class, then simply get in touch and I would be happy to advise on what is best for you to do. While the majority of the workshops available through this site are based at my studio, I do travel and teach regularly in other local venues and I am happy to go further a field. This allows me to reach more students and collaborate with others, which is something I love to do. I offer a range of structured one and two day workshops to beginners through to more experienced in machine embroidery. Do get in touch if you are a Guild or textile group to discuss your groups requirements and I am a happy to send you a list of workshops I offer. Back to the studio – the current range of workshops will grow over time and I hope to continue offering a wider variety of subjects so if there is something you are interested in but can’t see listed, get in touch!
