After graduating from Bristol, I took an English language teaching course in London and, in the mid 80’s, I joined a local part-family owned business that pioneered ‘living and studying’ in teachers’ homes worldwide. The Swim School WA has been providing Perth’s northern suburbs with vital swimming and water safety lessons for life since 2005. For over 16 years we have been following the Royal Life Saving Society of WA’s Swim and Survive program. We offer swimming lessons for students as young as 6 months old starting in our Parent and Baby swim lesson. Children 3 and over will enrol in our Learn to Swim program. Our young teenagers will find their lessons for life in our Squad program. Our Cook Stars team is passionate about cooking and we simply LOVE good food! We share our love of cooking through teaching children and teenagers how to create their very own dishes from scratch. We offer classes for pre-school children, primary school age children, tweens and teens delivered through our team of franchisees. We also host special event workshops, birthday parties and classes within schools and the community. At Cook Stars we take care of all the preparation to make it easy for our Cook Stars to simply come along and enjoy our sessions. All ingredients, cooking equipment, an apron, packaging and cooking know-how is provided! Everyone takes home their lovely dish along with a recipe card to cook again at home. We even see to the clearing away and washing up! Here at Cook Stars we want our classes to be accessible to everyone, so our classes are affordable and offer fantastic value. As well as providing everything you'll need to cook we also treat children to a craft activity and a snack to keep them entertained during cooking time. At our sessions, there's lots of opportunity to experiment with different preparation methods....weighing, measuring, shape cutting, decorating, rolling and much more! We learn about different ingredients, try new foods and develop useful life skills. Cook Stars believe the secret to pleasurable learning is though 'play' so our classes are friendly, relaxed and fun. Pupils are encouraged and trained to create their own programs for radio broadcast and shown how to run their own radio station platform within their school. Training consists of real-world broadcasting scenarios, that will prepare them not only in the real world of radio broadcasting but also as future business owners and entrepreneurs. Our founders draw upon decades of combined experience in working with young people by providing teaching and training in new media, Broadcasting and radio for young people and have adopted a cost effective school radio station streaming platform to provide and initiate both live streaming and podcast hosting facilities that won’t let your school down or cost the earth.

🌟 About Me: Hello there! I'm Julie, a dedicated professional in the driver education industry with a passion for guiding individuals towards becoming safe and qualified drivers. My journey began in 2003 when I achieved my qualification as a Driving Instructor, realizing a lifelong ambition and following in my father's footsteps. Helping young people navigate the road to safe driving has always been at the core of my mission. Life took an unexpected turn when my now ex- husband received an opportunity to work in Dubai, leading us to embark on a 15-year adventure in the Middle East. During this time, I temporarily stepped away from teaching. However, upon our return to the UK, the challenge of finding a Professional Driving Instructor for my 17-year-old daughter opened my eyes to the struggles parents face. This personal experience ignited my determination to re-qualify as an instructor, and I found immense joy in helping my daughter and other students achieve their driving dreams. In the wake of the global changes brought about by Covid, the demand for Driving Instructors soared. Distressed parents, unable to find professional help, approached me daily. Witnessing this struggle motivated me to create online courses, offering parents valuable insights and guidance for supporting their teenagers through the learning process. I also initiated the "Private Practice" Facebook Group, a community where I freely share advice to enhance home practice. 🚗 Online Courses: My online courses are designed to empower parents to provide the right support at home, ensuring their teenagers receive effective training. Having experienced the challenges firsthand, I understand the importance of quality instruction during private practice. Through these courses, I aim to bridge the gap and equip parents with the knowledge and skills needed to guide their teens safely to success. Whether it's learner drivers passing their tests or supervising drivers facilitating effective private practice,  I am here, committed, and ready to serve.
