Multiflex School Sports

Altrincham

ABOUT US Multiflex School Sports was originally started in 1989 by athletics coaches Tom Davies and Ron Newton. The original company name was T & R Sports Development. T & R Sports Development were given financial backing by ICI and later Astra Zeneca to deliver a sporting programme to Primary schools and High Schools to enthuse young children about sport. This programme used high achievers in sport such as Great Britain international athletes and professional Basketball players to deliver a programme that not only developed fitness and skill levels of young children but increased their enjoyment of sport and gave them a route into sports clubs outside of the school environment. Following the success of this programme Multiflex Sports was formed and went on to continue this sporting programme with local authorities and also Sports-hall athletics and Eveque sport and leisure. In 2005 the government introduced P.P.A. (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) to all UK Primary Schools. This meant that all teachers would then be allocated 2 hours a week away from their class timetable to make use of their PPA time effectively. Coincidently 2 hours a week is also the amount of time each child should receive P.E. lessons for so Multiflex altered their business model to provide PPA cover for schools in and around Cheshire. Mark Webb who is the Managing director of Multiflex realised there was an opportunity to provide high quality P.E. lessons in line with the National curriculum guidance on a weekly basis, whilst also providing support for schools and teachers through PPA cover. Multiflex developed a P.E. scheme for Primary schools that covered 6 areas of sport in line with the curriculum. The areas are as follows: Athletics Dance Gymnastics Invasion Games Striking and Fielding Net and Wall

I have been a subject leader and Head of Faculty for many years and understand what is required to enable students to make the greatest progress. With that in mind I have Jayne_mackay a team of experienced teachers, that I have worked with over the years, to lead the revision sessions. All teach the range of student ability and will ensure that the sessions are pitched at the right level for your child to enable them to develop and make progress from their starting points. Intensive revision sessions can motivate your children to approach their revision more independently and give them the tools to achieve their very best. The smaller class sizes means more individual attention, which is beneficial in improving results. The work of Cheshire Exam Success will supplement what is done in school and will provide consolidation and enrichment. I have a year 13 child of my own and am aware of the pressure and increasing demands on students to achieve, by using Cheshire Exam Success you can be assured your child will gain that extra support that will allow them to gain their best possible result. Industrial Maintenance Training

Industrial Maintenance Training Ltd (IMT). As a company, are passionate about working with people to assist them in developing their full potential by using the best methods that suit them, not just lecture to them. Therefore the focus of any of the courses is to assist the candidate in developing their own structured way of thinking, as well as working, when having to deal with problems. We start by finding out what they already know and understand, (whether or not it is related to the course content) then use that knowledge to link to the information that we are working on. Whenever possible we do not answer questions directly, instead we ask them different questions, which guides them to working the answers out for themselves. These methods have proven to be a very effective way of ensuring complete understanding of how to achieve their goal and of the technical information that they will require. We offer a range of different courses covering all aspects of production based maintenance issues from basic training of how to use hand tools, up to Adult Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering Disciplines. We also offer company support services such as competence assessments and certification. We can assist in the setting up and implementation of structured authorisation levels for your staff with regards to maintenance activities (an example is on a following page). We work in close association with Bedford Training Group Ltd. (www.btg.org.uk) to offer NVQ assessments at various levels, competence assessment and certification as well as a wide and varied range of supplementary courses and qualification including: C&G 17th Edition Regulations, C&G PAT Courses, Hydraulic & PneumaticTraining, Abrasive Wheels Training, General Workshop Training, Use of Lathe & Milling Machines and Basic Welding Techniques Etc.
