Sun Kyeong

sun kyeong

There is a vibration more powerful than any other because it comes directly from the Mind of the Universe. It creates and supports all living beings with universal light, love and energy. It is Qi, the vibration of life. Sun Kyeong is a spiritual practice that began in the mountains of South Korea, reconnecting us to ourselves, nature and the Universe by tuning to the vibration of life, Qi. With the world in ever expanding social and environmental crises, now more than ever humanity needs a new method that can transcend the limits of human intelligence. Sun Kyeong comprises of Qi Sessions, Qi Classes and a transformational Ancestor Healing course designed to clear inherited patterns. Over time this practice can lead us to understand the laws of nature and guide us to greater levels of health, happiness and spiritual connection. Many of the problems people experience today stem from a depletion of Qi. At work and in our personal lives, many of us stand at the same threshold daily and think something has to change. Stress, worry, fatigue and chronic health conditions are on the rise. People are searching for a way to be truly happy and find meaning in their lives. We have become increasingly disconnected from the vibration of life – Qi. Sun Kyeong can be a transformative pathway intended to help us connect to the infinite source of universal light, love and energy designed to keep us healthy, happy and supported to live in harmony with each other and nature. section divider The Sun Kyeong Masters Sun Kyeong Qi masters are specially trained to receive and transmit Qi. They live a spiritual life dedicated to caring for the well-being of others. Qi masters are trained in the mountains of South Korea and maintain their ability to transmit Qi with 3 to 4 hours of personal training each day. Qi masters come from all walks of life and from all over the world. Many have, themselves, recovered from chronic health conditions and have gone on to help others worldwide.

The Reset Project

the reset project

I help forward-thinking organisations boost their leaders' and teams' health, wellbeing and resilience to transform their productivity, their profit and their reputation. All too often, corporate health and wellbeing is reactive rather than preventative - trying to tackle a problem once it has appeared, rather than avoiding the problem in the first place. Not only does this send healthcare costs and absence rates through the roof (not ideal), it does little to empower people to establish a healthy lifestyle that will benefit them, their family and the business both now and in the long term. Unhealthy lifestyles are having a debilitating impact on business performance. Exhausted, burnt out, unmotivated, stressed, lethargic, 'wired and tired' people at work are leading to snowballing absence rates and healthcare costs, and are killing morale, productivity and profits. rachP1-2.jpg It's clear to see the impact this is having on business - in 2019 alone UK businesses lost almost £92 million to poor health. And it's not just the business that suffers... when someone isn't looking after themselves - whether that's poor sleep, stress, nutrition, mobility or connection - their families, communities and wider society all miss out. In particular, burnt out, run down. detached leaders will have a huge knock-on effect across all areas of the business, both from a people and an operational perspective. But it doesn't have to be this way. 80% of chronic diseases are caused by lifestyle - and lifestyle is something we can change, together. Through 1:1 and group coaching, I take leaders and teams through a systematic lifestyle behaviour change framework that tackles eight key areas of health and wellness. The result? They're equipped with simple but alarmingly effective tools and techniques at their disposal to make positive, sustainable changes to their lifestyle. They take responsibility and action in supporting their long-term physical and mental health - and everyone benefits (except the healthcare providers, probably).

Rose Noir Designs

rose noir designs

Rose is 5 foot 2 1/2 inches (and yes that half-inch is important). She is a brunette with 100% natural face-defining eyebrows. Growing up she believed that the ideal of beauty was a size zero, tall, leggy blonde and was so disappointed she would never be one. Growing up with two older brothers she was also a tomboy. In adulthood, the first garment that made Rose feel joyous every time she wore it was a vintage red swing dress with black polka dots. She didn’t wear a lot of colour or prints at the time but this dress is what started to convert her. It was impossible for her to wear this dress and not feel happy about life and her body. This is the type of feeling she hopes to help everyone achieve when they wear a Rose Noir Designs garment. Rose trained in design, specifically scenery and costumes for theatre. This work has helped her to see how clothes help us to define who we are and express ourselves, as well as experience working with a wide range of body types. In between making her designs for theatre, she started making bespoke pieces for individuals, which eventually led to working with latex. Initially she worked almost exclusively for plus-sized women. This happened mostly by chance but became very important. Rose believes that everyone has the ability to be sexy, the right to feel sexy, and to be empowered through what they wear. “I started designing for a lot for dominant women, who were strong and confident, but didn’t always feel that way about their bodies because of the downfalls of the clothing industry and standard sizing. I’ve found it incredibly rewarding to design for all shapes and sizes and really make a garment fit an individual. Everyone can look good in a garment if it fits them. Making someone feel good is what clothing should do. And I hope for clothing to be as unique as the person wearing it.”

Happy Paws with Sue

happy paws with sue

My name is Sue Williamson, and I have loved dogs (and many other animals for that matter) as far back as I can remember. One of my first memories is laying under my Grandparents Belfast sink with my Auntie’s German Shepherd – Tara. When I was 4 years old, a relative gave me a little black poodle, called Tina. Tina was one of the reasons I wanted to work with dogs when I grew up. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way that got pushed to one side and I finished up working in administration. Working up from secretarial positions to administration management, I left employment in January 2016 to follow my childhood dream of working with animals, and in particular – dogs. After I lost Tina, I had to wait over 20 years to get another dog, although I interacted with dogs on a regular basis. My next dog was Kelly, a black collie cross. She was the most placid and loving dog. Since Kelly I have been guardian to six dogs two of whom I have had to say goodbye Kira my gorgeous black Labrador who we lost in 2018 due to a lung tumour, and Raffi, Lemon and White working cocker spaniel who was killed in a road accident in 2016. I currently have four dogs, Taz, a male black show cocker spaniel, – who was the reason I got a deeper interest in training and Tellington TTouch Training, Ritzi, a miniature parti Poodle (black and white), Chic, a brown miniature poodle, (pronounced Sheek), and new boy on the block Lemon Roan Working Cocker Spaniel Talis. I have done training with all my dogs, including basic obedience, gundog training, platform training and agility. I have competed at agility with both Taz (grade 5), and Kira (grade 3) and Raffi (Grade 4). Although I no longer participate in Agility, I have taken up Canine Hoopers with Talis and started to compete.

Big White Shed

big white shed

Morecambe

Big White Shed opened its doors in 2015 to support the completion of projects by helping find those missing 'bits' needed for a successful outcome. Initially an idea brought about by the frustration of finding a publisher for her novel, founder Anne Holloway decided to do it herself! Tired of waiting for someone to publish her book and spurred on by positive comments from those who had read it, and the success of other authors who had taken control for themselves, she decided to do the same and set up a small press. Drawing on contacts made over the years, she managed the production of the novel from editing, designing, print sourcing and type setting through to marketing and managing sales. She had to buy in services, trade expertise, ask favours, and more importantly than that, was propelled forward by the belief of others in what she was doing. The success of the project made her determined to support others in 'doing it themselves'. As well as first hand experience of small-scale publishing, she has expertise in coaching and mentoring, writing, editing, performing, teaching and sales management. She has a strong track record in the retail and entertainments industries, has set up and run small organisations, was co-director of East Midlands poetry collective Mouthy Poets for 6 years, Creative Director of Nottingham Poetry Festival in 2021 and 2022 and writes and performs her own work. You can find out more about her on her website. Big White Shed is a place to seek advice and tools, trade expertise and ideas in order to complete a creative project - a virtual meeting place for people who want to get a job done and the people who can help achieve that. In the shed, we will think through what you have in mind, and help make it a reality. Big White Shed acts as an enabling partner.
