We work in STEM - the Science and Technology areas anyway. These industries are some of the fastest-paced industries in the world and it’s an honour and a privilege to play our small part in helping progress the education of individuals in the subjects. Our training courses are built with the future in mind whilst ensuring that all our delegates are given a solid grounding in the basics. We have included businesses in the course development, and they are taught by our own industry experts. In Science we have made use of Labster to give delegates a virtual laboratory to “work” in and explore. Our technology courses service a global audience, we are an official Preferred Plus Partner for RDK which gives us access to some of the largest technology organisations in the world. We utilise this fabulous knowledge base to ensure everything we get involved in is truly pioneering. Our mission is very simple; to educate, upskill and/or reskill every delegate that attends one of our courses. Industry and education lack the processes needed to engage at the individual level we would aspire to. Outreach activities create awareness of STEM careers, but it's not "enough". In order to develop aspirations and accelerate skills, additional levels of engagement are needed. Activities feel as if they happen to students rather than with students and for students. Students are a ‘person'... not just 'stats and numbers'. We believe we are not resonating closely enough with students. It's about more than this year's recruitment or next year's jobs. Its about a long-term, strategic sustainable pipeline of inspired individuals who will inspire the next generation.

About Miss Vidler IT Our consultant Rachel Vidler is a qualified Primary school teacher, with a wealth of experience in both teaching and technology. Her teaching and ability to engage and inspire children through the use of technology, has been recognised, with her winning the prestigious Most Inspirational Teacher of the Year 2018 award. Her previous career in primary schools allows her to give support and guidance from all aspects of the profession, as she has been as a teacher, a coach and mentor, a member of senior leadership and a member of the governing body. She holds a first-class BEd (Hons) degree with QTS, alongside her NPQML qualification. Rachel was one of the first teachers to complete the DfE Subject Leader Expert qualification in 2015, working as an SLE for computing across the county. She now supports STEM Learning and the National Centre for Computing Education as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with schools across the East Midlands, East of England and East and South Yorkshire. Rachel also works alongside the NCCE nationally, as a Facilitator for their Teach Computing Primary Courses. Rachel proudly supports the Denbigh School Computing Hub working as their Primary Lead for Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. She works alongside the Hub Lead to support schools in the area, boosting engagement in computing and hosting CPD for teachers.

We offer candle making workshops aimed for the absolute beginner and anyone who is interested in learning a new skill. Whether it be for a new hobby, to inspire a business opportunity or simply just a great way of spending a few hours learning a new craft, you will leave us feeling proud of your achievements. With the emphasis on fun and flair you'll learn to create attractive scented candles with a variety of waxes, oils and dyes and using some creative techniques.
