MINI PROFESSORS "Science is all around us, in everything we see." Mini Professors is an innovative, interactive and fun science class that will open up a whole new world of scientific adventure to your child. Our classes are suitable for children from 2 years old up until they go to school. At Mini Professors, we aim to inspire a generation. We believe that science should be accessible to all. As with languages, children can easily absorb and learn science from an early age. That is why we endeavour to always use the correct scientific terminology but explain scientific principles in simple terms with fun experiments. We encourage our Mini Professors to explore for themselves and interact as much as possible. Every week we cover a new and exciting topic and each lesson is packed full of experiments, singing, stories and loads of fun. Our exciting topics include the brain, bubbles, electricity, flight, evolution, maths, dinosaurs, fossils, butterflies, weird science just to name a few. WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU TO CLASS WITH YOUR INQUISITIVE CHILD. You can join a class at any time providing there are places available. Each session is an individual unit, so you don't miss anything and flow on a rolling basis so that you can complete all of our fabulous programme through time.

About Miss Vidler IT Our consultant Rachel Vidler is a qualified Primary school teacher, with a wealth of experience in both teaching and technology. Her teaching and ability to engage and inspire children through the use of technology, has been recognised, with her winning the prestigious Most Inspirational Teacher of the Year 2018 award. Her previous career in primary schools allows her to give support and guidance from all aspects of the profession, as she has been as a teacher, a coach and mentor, a member of senior leadership and a member of the governing body. She holds a first-class BEd (Hons) degree with QTS, alongside her NPQML qualification. Rachel was one of the first teachers to complete the DfE Subject Leader Expert qualification in 2015, working as an SLE for computing across the county. She now supports STEM Learning and the National Centre for Computing Education as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with schools across the East Midlands, East of England and East and South Yorkshire. Rachel also works alongside the NCCE nationally, as a Facilitator for their Teach Computing Primary Courses. Rachel proudly supports the Denbigh School Computing Hub working as their Primary Lead for Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. She works alongside the Hub Lead to support schools in the area, boosting engagement in computing and hosting CPD for teachers.

This is where Nutrition Science meets creativity. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Medicine, a background in education, a creative flare and a strong desire to motivate human connection. These I blend in order to offer sound nutritional knowledge and motivation to push forward with healthy living and being. I offer a variety of nutrition based services including 1-1 consultations, Functional Medicine testing, health workshops, 'Cleanse' courses, lectures, menu creation, product reviews and articles on nutrition, food and lifestyle. I also work as a 1-1 nutritionist for the wonderful company’ Health Path’. There is a common aim - to inspire better mental and physical health in whatever way this is best achieved. Located in West Sussex, I work in London, Brighton and surrounding areas. My days are spent nourishing, advising, educating and supporting clients on obtaining healthier and happier lifestyles. Annually, I take clients abroad to ‘cleanse’ body and soul. One of my cleanse locations is Gozo, a rustic island off Malta. This is the perfect location for taking time out in a supported and empowering environment. In 2022, I worked with the Wild View Retreat team in Portugal on a juice fast week of health rejuvenation. It was wonderful. I am thrilled to be joining them again for 4 weeks of cleansing in 2023.

The Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC) is a non-profit organisation that cares about the development of coaching and coaches in Hong Kong and beyond. What started in 2002 as the first graduate class of a Hong Kong coach training school reconnecting to share experiences, we are now the longest established professional coaching association in Hong Kong. With well over 100 coaches and counting, we have grown into a professional community of individuals who share the common purpose to inspire and nurture people to be their best through coaching.We continuously strive to meet the needs of all our members. Regular growth and development initiatives are hosted to improve the skills and standards of our members as both coaches and coaching entrepreneurs. We recognise that new coaches may need guidance when starting their journey. We therefore organise specific workshops and mentoring programmes to support them. To give our members a chance to connect and learn from each other, we arrange regular drinks and social gatherings throughout the year, both online and offline. We also create volunteering opportunities for our members to support HKICC and other members, as well as to give back to society. Members are able to lead projects as mentors, become an event host, write a blog, join pro-bono initiatives and much more.

I have been working as a professional fitness coach in and around Nottingham for many years. In that time I have taught within the community and worked with a wide variety of people to enhance their health, fitness and wellbeing. My background is sport and fitness based having achieved a BSc (hons) Sport Science and Administration Degree. Since graduating I have taken on many coaching roles within the fitness industry to help develop and inspire those around me. I have run FitKid sessions for children as well as RSA Exercise To Music Courses for aspiring teachers, worked as a lecturer in local colleges and of course run fitness classes ranging from Circuits and Body Pump to Yoga and Step. I bring this vast experience to my current classes along with a passion to help people be the best they can be and have fun along the way. I have encouraged many people as they start on their fitness journey and motivated them to continue on their chosen path. I love my job, it’s great fun, always interesting and so rewarding… and that’s what I want for my participants. FACING HARDSHIP, HAVING TROUBLES, OR NEED INSPIRATION? WE’VE ALL BEEN THERE. The Beating the Odds Foundation was founded in 1990 by Rocco Scalzi, a former Altoona Pennsylvania police officer who managed to re-focus his life after a tragic incident in 1980 during his rookie year. After choosing to turn his life around despite facing many obstacles, Rocco took his message of hope to kids all across the country. He recognized how all children are at-risk to become victims of poor choices and other self-destructive behaviors. And although certain at-risk factors are easy to identify in some youth, it is impossible to predict how everyone will react when faced with hardships. So Rocco’s message to the youth of America focused on the importance of developing a never-give-up attitude. To officially kick off his inspirational organization, Rocco brought 15,000 students to Three Rivers Stadium, then-home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, to hear first-hand how other people had reached their dreams and goals despite the obstacles they faced. The first two individuals who joined Rocco that day were former Pittsburgh Steeler great and Vietnam War hero Rocky Bleier (who now serves as Co-Chairman of the Beating the Odds Foundation) and Vietnam War hero Bob Wieland. Both have remained important members of the Beating the Odds Foundation and still inspire students and adults to never give up.
