Sometimes we all need space to just be ourselves. Because we can’t do it alone. We can’t carry everything for everyone else and hold it all together. It’s time to realise that it’s okay to not always be okay. And that if you ever feel yourself crumbling under the pressure, there is another way. I went on that journey. I decided to challenge the status quo. To put an end to the feelings of vulnerability. I created space for me to find my voice, and my inner confidence so I could put my individual needs first for a change. It changed everything. I came back from the verge of burnout. I put an end to the tactics I’d created that I knew would never be sustainable with a family, and I stopped constantly moving around to avoid falling off the hamster wheel.
