Le French Programme has been designed to provide French lessons to children of French speaking families within the English education system. This programme is taught to boys and girls from Nursery to Year 6 (3 to 10 years old). It was established in 2001 within Parsons Green Prep, an independent school in London in the heart of Fulham and has been growing steadily ever since. The children learn to appreciate the French language within a calm and secure environment. Miss Claude has been working at the school since 2015, working closely with the team at Parsons Green Prep to ensure a balanced education for the biligual child. Le French Programme combines the rigour of the French curriculum (by using various supports like Bled, Bescherelle, Boscher’s method etc.) with the positive and encouraging attitude of the English way of teaching. The club embraces several key learning areas, including: reading, writing, conjugation, grammar and spelling. A registered charity, KEAP was founded in 2001 as an arts education agency, championing best practice and supporting schools and artists in creating an arts rich, creative curriculum. Fast forward to 2014, and after the funding landscape changed significantly, we took the brave step to move from being a service organisation to being a producer. Using our skills, experiences and literature specialism we have created unique programmes and projects which focus on building experiences, confidence, skills and enjoyment in writing and story. We deliver the majority of our work through The Writers’ Block, an immersive creative writing space where we champion the writer in everyone. Cambridge Gymnastics Academy CIC is a non-profit organisation, which was founded in May 2012. The company Director Kayleigh Plaza, had a vision to provide affordable gymnastics for all, no matter age, gender, income or ability/disability. The club has since evolved and with an incredibly dedicated staff team, together fundraised, saved and received grants from both the Council and Sport England totalling £250,000. In May 2016, CGA opened its doors to a dedicated facility at North Cambridge Academy. CGA prides itself on being a hub for the community. Sessions are available from 6 week old babies to adult, from recreational to elite, with the lowest priced classes in the area and we even offer a 10% discount for people on means tested benefits. After our pre-school classes, we offer free refreshments so families can build relationships with others. We offer classes for minority groups such as women’s only, over 50’s and specially designed disability sessions. We are an inclusive club, so in the evenings children with disabilities join in with our normal recreational sessions. We deliver curriculum support to the NCA students and run a youth night on a Friday evening to provide local young people with a safe environment. In 2017 our success & hard work was recognised by British Gymnastics and we were selected as 1 of 3 clubs in the whole of the UK to be shortlisted for the award ‘British Gymnastics Club of the Year’. Following this success CGA were also awarded the 2017 winners of the ‘Living Sports Community Club of the Year’ fighting off strong competition from sports clubs across Cambridgeshire. Both huge achievements for the club. The club is a registered member of both British Gymnastics and Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association and has a number of fully qualified coaches & judges up to National Level who are DBS checked, safeguard & first aid qualified.

The Science of Acting The Science of Acting was founded by Sam Kogan, influenced by Maria Knebel; his teacher, who herself was a student of Stanislavski. The curriculum of the Science of Acting is founded on 4 principles: Freedom from Gods or Idols - Only once you learn to think for yourself will you be able to be free on stage. Right and Wrong - Statements such as ‘there is no right or wrong in acting’, or ‘you either have it or you don’t’ are common in Drama Education. But if this were true, there would be no point to a drama school, or to dramatic training of any kind. The Science of Acting therefore is based on a technique the knowledge of which has proven to give actors the training to be able to create inspiring acting. Quality of Acting - We believe that the best acting occurs when actors are able to use the right type of imagination (which we all have); that being active as opposed to passive imagination, which few actors are aware of or know how to use. Terminology or The Meaning of Words - For a group of actors to create the context of stories and therefore entertain, a common understanding through language in all its forms is necessary. This enables each individual actor to be free in their uniqueness, whilst creating a totality for the audience.
