At EarthCraftuk we have over 12 years experience delivering a variety of nature based programmes including: Forest School Leader Training, Woodland Skills Continued Professional Development Workshops, school visits, youth accredited engagement programmes and experiential Forest School programmes; witnessing first-hand the transformational effects experiences in the natural world can have on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of all participants, and the fulfilling career paths it can often open up for adult participants. At a time when we on average spend 90% of our time indoors, our work at Earthcraftuk is driven by the evidenced impact of being in nature. Green spaces promote physical activity, social interaction, exposure to sunlight and reduced pollution, which all boost health in various ways, including reduced levels of stress and anxiety, aided sleep and a feeling of connectedness with the world, and one another. We have trained over 400 participants on Forest School qualification programmes; worked with a number of community groups; supported school and youth experiential and accredited programmes and also developed a Campfire Management Award for Kent County Council and now also working with Veterans on our Health & Wellbeing programme called Veteran Trees We are very grateful to use stunning private woodland owned by the Dawes family of Mount Ephraim Gardens – a philanthropic family who support our mission.

We are an online tutoring agency founded in 2020, specialising in connecting tutors who are interesting in teaching tailored lessons online, to students wanting to grow their academic skills. We are registered and based in the UK, but work internationally to connect English speaking tutors with domestic and international students, with a majority of our core business specialising with Chinese students. Age ranges for students can vary from 4 years old to mature students, with tailored lessons being from early foundation English, Mathematics or Science, to GCSE and University academic tuition, for example preparation for the Cambridge or IELTS exams. As our students, and often their parents, expect well prepared and taught online lessons, we aim to work with experienced and qualified tutors. This relates strongly to the quality of the teaching outcome for the student, but also for the continuing success for the tutor. The minimum academic requirements for a tutor interested in joining Meet My Tutors, are a bachelor's degree and more than 2 years of teaching experience, or tutors with internationally recognized language teaching qualifications such as TEFL, TESOL or QTS, and PGCE licenses. Peak Upholstery and furnishings is run and managed by Angie Britton, on the outskirts of the small town of Matlock, in Derbyshire. Angie has been making bespoke (made to order) soft furnishings and loose covers since the late '80's and upholstery since the mid '90's. She has professional qualifications in upholstery and loose cover making plus teaching qualifications and plenty of experience of teaching adults in these subjects. As a teacher she feels strongly that when you are learning something new it is important to undertake a project that you can complete on the course and one that is not beyond your level of skill - it is no use deciding to make a loose cover, if you have never sewn anything since you left school! It is also important to return home with your newly learnt skills and continue to use them. Try to make sure that on your return home there are similar projects waiting to be undertaken. The courses are aimed at students of all skill levels, from those wanting to start their own business, to those just wanting to improve the quality of what they make in their own home and from those who have never sewn at all, to those who are already accomplished but want to extend their knowledge.

The original architect of this interesting and scenic 18 hole parkland course, Tom Williamson, left a supreme legacy at Stanton, demonstrating how golf and nature can blend harmoniously. The course has an enviable reputation of being in excellent condition throughout the year and in addition has some of the purest greens in the county. As you approach the Club, on the left of the main drive you will find the driving range, a newly developed chipping and bunker play area and of course a practice putting green. Just the ticket to hone your skills prior to starting your round. Arranged in a double loop, the par 73 course offers a mix of tricky par threes, some long par fours which can test even the longer hitter and interestingly finishes with two par fives. The tree lined tight fairways reward accurate shots and punish those off line. This coupled with strategically placed bunkers and some elevated tight greens make this a true test of golf for players of all abilities. The first nine holes offers the chance to build a good score offering a number of birdie opportunities - if you play accurate iron shots to the greens. However the back nine can soon claw back birdies made, with holes 13 to 18 always proving a good test particularly in the prevailing wind.

Like thousands of parents across the UK, mother of three, Reedah El-Saie was frustrated with an antiquated education system originally designed post industrial revolution to prepare children for factory work. She had witnessed how exams and revision had caused her children stress and anxiety, resulting in them losing their love of learning. As a family of diverse heritage Reedah hoped for a more inclusive curriculum both in terms of content and delivery. In winter 2018, whilst preparing her son for 11+, Reedah came across Fortnite often played during revision breaks. She noticed how the 3D open world, multi-player, action game appealed to children across the world. She imagined an educational game through a 3D open world, including diverse characters and stories, fully aligned with the UK national curriculum and 11+/13+ entrance exams, enabling learning through play. After extensive but fruitless research for a pre-existing educational mobile games app aligned with the UK national curriculum, Reedah founded Brainspark Games (previously Xplorealms). Her vision was to create a 3D open world, celebrating diverse characters, using immersive technology to engage wider audiences as well as BAME, vulnerable and neurodiverse. She researched the curriculum pedagogy, twenty-first century skills movement and flip schools and held workshops and interviewed children, parents and teachers to ensure user-led games!
