Yellowtom presents a professionally designed Priority landing page for each client company, which can act as a hub linking all their online presences including their own website, social media pages and Google+. The Priority page is written in such a way as to get local businesses found on the major search engines and is used by many small, local businesses as their main internet profile. The Priority page also has a share this page button, so those who find it interesting and useful can share it with their friends on Facebook instantly. This feature is of particular interest to businesses promoting regular offers such as clothing retailers, jewellers, beauty and hair salons, restaurants and fast food outlets. There are millions of well presented websites in the UK and Ireland which cannot be found on the major search engines. That's where Yellowtom can help. Go to http://www.yellowtom.co.uk/287000 to see an example of a Yellowtom business hub. From a local businesses perspective, the good news is that a Yellowtom Priority page is not a large investment and all clients have the comfort of Yellowtom operating a cancel anytime policy. The latest edition allows businesses to add their own page or, if they wish, call our telesales team who can do it all for them while still giving the business full edit facilities - all for only £9 per week. Yellowtom is primarily designed to be a local directory and offers finder. A list of all towns can be found on the home page. As more and more people turn to www.yellowtom.co.uk for local business listings and local offers those not listed are giving a distinct advantage to their competitors with a Priority page and a listing on the local My App.

The Nursery School Company

the nursery school company

At The Nursery School Company we have play at the very heart of our ethos. Our settings have been thoughtfully designed to allow children the opportunity to enjoy learning. We designed our innovative and exciting curriculum to give children the widest range of opportunities. The success of our approach can be measured in the children’s high level of achievement. Our Approach Our educational approach has been brought together using twenty years of experience in the early years. We use the Forest School approach to inform and underpin our outdoor curriculum. We also take influences from other early years philosophers including High Scope, Reggio Emilia and the Montessori method. Whilst we draw on these methods, we are constantly evolving to ensure that the latest scientific findings reflect the modern world and the educational experiences the children are exposed to. For example working to provide STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) influences whilst also ensuring that we put emotional well-being at the heart of early years practice. Maria Montessori Children are given the freedom to work at their own pace making their own choices and correcting their own mistakes. Montessori method allows children to learn the way they learn best, by doing things for themselves. During independent activities children are encouraged to choose work that appeals to their interests. The teacher will also introduce new work to the children according to their abilities and stage of development. High Scope High Scope is an approach to early years education that has at its core the belief that children gain confidence, initiative and a lifelong love of learning when involved in well-supported activities of their own choosing. A consistent and flexible daily routine which provides for child and adult initiated activities. Opportunities to choose, plan, carry out and reflect on their activities Opportunities for children to engage in the active participatory learning process Adults who value and appreciate children and provide a creative and supportive learning climate Forest school Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. Forest school supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. Its roots reach back to the open-air culture seen as a way of life in Scandinavia where Forest School began. Reggio Emilia The Reggio Emilia sees children as curious individuals with the power and potential to develop and learn from their environment and the relationships they build with others. Children are viewed as strong and intelligent individuals who should be given every opportunity to reach their potential. Children are viewed as having unlimited potential and being eager to interact with and contribute to the world. The learning process is considered to be of much higher importance than the final product. Teachers create in-depth projects based on observations, information from parents and the interests of the children.

Deeside

Anita Williams has been coaching and developing people since 1993. Her extensive experience, gleaned from a comprehensive grounding in the banking sector, followed by a long stint in leadership in the house building sector, has resulted in a broad understanding of what it takes to motivate and encourage people to perform at their best. Her seventeen years as a Sales and Marketing Director have exposed her to the pressures of leadership and the handling of budget timetables and constraints. Feeling proud of her achievements, Anita is now quite philosophical about her encounters with the challenges of her career thus far: “Making the decision to set up in business on my own felt like disembarking a huge learning curve; I was inspired by it and all the better for having endured it. My skill set has been nourished with a mix of emotional roller coaster rides and thought provoking business decisions. If I had to go back to the start of my career and live it all over again, I doubt I would make many changes. I appreciate that to be successful, grounded and content at work is to engage with those around you, share experiences, learn from each other, respect each other and play to the strengths of a team. How you deal with objectives and grow from them determines your strength of character and general well-being. How you behave is all about the attitude you choose to adopt. During my time as a Director, I was empowered to steer my team and represent my area of expertise at board level. I believed in my decisions. I propelled a confidence which I was able to pass on to a dedicated team of hard working people who shone. Now that I have founded my own business, I am able to offer constructive, progressive and meaningful training for leaders and their workforce in an engaging way. I take pride in listening first. This is key to effective communication, and I work hard to practise what I preach! Through careful planning and a focus on growth potential we can make huge “inroads” into our strategic thinking. At Williams Performance Coaching, I am delighted to offer some very useful material on how to motivate and encourage your team to be successful, and I will be delighted to mould a specific course to suit your company targets and the needs of your particular team.” Williams Performance Coaching offers professional tailor-made training courses to suit your requirements. It is easy to get started. All it usually takes to identify your immediate need is a chat over coffee 🙂 Here are some useful examples of prompts, identifying elements you could incorporate, to get you started: Motivational training days Business planning Effective leadership training Professional customer service Efficient time management for senior managers Sales conferences The sales journey Back to basics: Selling skills Enhanced selling skills Effective communication Handling cultural change Recruitment assessment days Team building exercises

Derby

I have over 20 years of experience in the behaviour and training of dogs and am a member of the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors. I have a Diploma in Canine Behaviour, and am a full member of INTO Dogs, ICAN and The Pet Professional Guild. My passion is working with dogs to help them reach their full potential in a fun, fear free way, whether they are working and competing dogs, fearful rescues or family unit members. I work completely on a positive reward basis, and as an ex Veterinary Nurse I also understand the anatomical and physical restraints that some dogs have, and will work with owners to overcome the problems. I have a special interest in arthritic dogs as per my Canine Arthritis Management qualification. As both a trainer and a behaviourist, I am fully insured and offer both group classes or one to one behaviour assessments and training. Debbie Goodwin Pawsitive Dog Training I run a Rescue and Rehoming Service for my breed, Papillons, and I have extensive knowledge on rescue dog behaviour, particularly the fearful foreign dogs. I regularly, successfully compete in agility, scentwork, showing and obedience myself. Behaviour consultations typically last an hour (or more if needed) to enable me to understand your dogs issues, to suggest a way forward and to start a programme. This will be followed up with a full written history and plan. Follow up visits very much depend on the issue, the implementation of the behaviour modification plan and the individual dog. General Training for dogs and puppies can be in either a class situation or one to one training. Some dogs do really well in class, whilst others need some one to one training first, especially where a class situation is too stressful. Again, it is very much dependent on what you wish to achieve with your dog, the dog itself, and its progression as to how many sessions you will need. To book a consultation or training session please complete the Questionnaire which can be sent by e mail or downloaded here, e mail to dogpawsitivetraining@yahoo.com and I will ring you to book an appointment. If you would like to discuss your requirements prior to this, please telephone me on 07956 547769 and I will be very pleased to answer your questions at no extra charge. Consultations normally last a minimum of 1 hour and are carried out in your own home at a time which is convenient to you. It is helpful for the whole family and any other carers to be present. The cause and motivation for the behaviour will be fully explained and a staged programme of behaviour modification advised. You will receive a written report and advised of follow up visits. I am able to provide a secure field for training on a Sunday afternoon so please contact me if required.

Essex

Encouraged as a small child by an artistic mother, I always sketched family members and pets, being able to capture a good likeness. From school through to college, my ability to draw became apparent and was recognised throughout my home town of Colchester in Essex. I had taken to pastels after years of painting in watercolour. The transition happened when working on a portrait….. "With watercolours I couldn't keep the smooth texture of the skin and the more I worked at it, the rougher the 'skin' got. Frustrated, I picked up a box of pastels that I'd had from college and almost closed my eyes as I chalked over the face I'd been working on for hours, cringing with the fear of having to throw the whole picture in the bin…. I smudged it over with my finger. The result was amazingly smooth and definitely 'skin' like. I put away the watercolours and invested in many shades of quality pastels". In 1997 and keen to enter into the art world, I offered my services to organisations to produce promotional portraits which came with good media coverage and helped my business catapult within its first year. I was introduced to various artists and teachers and was offered a place to work alongside Royal portrait artist Richard Stone who had admired my work through the local press. In 2003 I took up teaching art within local clubs and private classes, holding exhibitions and encouraging 11 to 16 year olds to develop their artistic talents with workshops using different mediums. From 2008, I had the immense pleasure of working with Colchester Zoo in Essex when I became their Artist in Residence. From holding art classes in the Zoo and working with children during the school holidays to portray their favourite animals, one of my greatest adventures was to work closely with the Zoo's great managerial team on their 'Stand Tall' project for their 50th anniversary. This saw many local artists give up their time to design and create personal works of art on 2.5m giraffe sculptures. These were then displayed around Colchester and even took a tour to London's South Bank before they came back to the Zoo for auction. It was with much excitement to see one of my giraffes (Big Catrina) sell to the highest bidder at £6800. Developing very unique drawing skills, I have helped students from all over the world with many varying art abilities to accomplish their artistic dreams. With a limited palette of chalks, and a vast experience in pastel application, my teaching took me to places I hadn't even dreamed of. Constantly moving forward and learning new ways to pass on my skills, I would say that teaching students of all ages is in my blood now. It has become a passion to show others the beauty of this versatile medium.

The approach I take within my work comes from my own life experiences, extensive training and research, my interest in fellow human beings and a deep longing to share with others my knowledge of self-development, spirituality and natural healing. I graduated in Biology at Durham University in the 1980s and I entered the workplace at the Science Museum in London. Science and particularly the Medical Sciences were my first loves, however a taste of the stress and pressure of city life, led me to take off on a travelling adventure and find out what it was I really wished for out of life. Whilst living and working in South East Asia I gravitated towards Buddhism and the Ayurvedic approach to wellness and health. I took a course in 'Chakra Consciousness' in India where I qualified as a teacher. This changed my whole outlook and meditation/natural healing became part of my life and it stuck. On returning to the UK, two children later, and having decided to completely switch career, I worked in a Natural Health business whilst further training in Stress Therapy, Holistic Massage, Acupressure and Reiki Healing. I opened my first 'Holistic Wellbeing' clinic in Wetherby in 2006 and then 'Qui Wellbeing' in Sicklinghall and I have now worked 1:1 with a wide range of clients. In 2017 I qualified as a Mindfulness Association teacher and UK registered with the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches following the UK good practice guidelines. In 2019 I qualified as a Compassion Based Living Teacher with the Mindfulness Association. In recent years I have delivered Mindfulness based interventions to recovering addicts (5-ways academy in Leeds), vulnerable adults (Harrogate Homeless Project), leaders working with vulnerable adults, stressed city workers (NHS digital Leeds), sixth formers (Harrogate Grammar school) and I am currently working with University of Leeds on research funded by the Medical Research Council into approaches to mental health in adolescents. Recently I recorded a professionally produced audio version of the MBLC course for the Mindfulness Association. I continue to deliver to private clients and groups at the Acorn Wellness Retreat and at Carlshead Business Centre. I am now very happily part of the Kagyu sangha of Tibetan Buddhism and practice at Samye Dzong, Samye Ling and with Mindsprings. I regularly attend immersive retreats. I combine my multi-disciplinary skills, my extensive client-based experience and my deep belief in the power of Mindfulness to create a unique and considered approach to personal wellness and natural health. Communicating through social media, magazine articles and blogs keeps me abreast of new developments and research into my diverse areas of interest. Other than that, I am committed to be happy and compassionate in my work, with my family, with the people I meet and the world around me. I am very grateful to my many guides and influences. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Namaste

ROSA Thai Massage

rosa thai massage

London

Traditional Thai Massage is often referred to as Thai Yoga Massage, and has just arrived in West Yorkshire. It is a from of bodywork that is done on a futon on the floor with the client dressed in light clothes. It works on freeing the flow of vital energy in your body. You will be taken through a series of gentle movement, acupressure, breathing, flexibility, digestion and circulation, your muscles get stretched and your inner organs toned and emotional nervous tension drops away. Often a deep sense of quiet can be experienced during and after treatment. Rosa Thai Therapy About Rosa Thai Therapy The Rosa Thai Massage in Leeds system focuses on circulation of vital energy in major pathways called sen. The major energy lines are manipulated, and important pressure points along these pathways are stimulated to help break down blockages, stimulate energy flow and restore balance. The word “Massage” does not mean the same thing as it is understood in the typical western usage. In the west “Massage” means a “rub down” and refers to techniques derived from Swedish Massage and regular Massage therapy. “Thai Massage” (Phaen Boran Ráksãa Thaang Nûat) is completely different! It is a healing art of the Theraveda Buddhism and Buddhist medicine. With Rosa Traditional Thai Massage in Leeds, no oils or lotions are used, and the recipient remains clothed during a treatment. There is constant body contact between the practitioner and client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked in order to clear energy blockages and relieve tension. Rosa uses thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to create a dance of movement on the body of the recipient. Rosa Traditional Thai Massage is done on a mat instead of a table. This allows Rosa to get the necessary body leverage needed for the stretches and Yoga-like positions used in Thai Massage. HOW DO I DRESS FOR ROSA TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE? The client wears lose clothing or sports shorts allowing for a series of yoga like stretches to take place. Rosa or one of her highly trained therapists will consult with the client and ensures that the client is at all times comfortable. The therapist will always take into consideration the clients physical limitations. Many clients are surprised and delighted at what they can achieve from just one session of authentic thai Massage. WHAT IF I HAVE AN AILMENT OR SPORTS INJURY? Rosa will always enquire about your existing health and medical conditions. Rosa has successfully treated people in the last few years for a variety of ailments including Parkinson’s, Arthritis and a host of stress related problems, along with the usual sports injuries received from general sporting pursuits and training. The whole experience of traditional thai Massage, and whether you have a Massage in Leeds or Bradford will benefit your overall health and you will be guaranteed a great relaxing and stress free time.
