the wellbe hub
Wellbeing and recovery aren't just my job. It's my life. In my early years, I
experienced multiple traumas that meant I dreaded leaving my room. Now, I am a
business owner running a highly rated counselling and training service, I’ve
been selected to join teams that designed and launched innovative services
improving mental health and wellbeing locally, within the NHS and
internationally and I have been invited as a guest speaker to present as an
ambassador for change So how did this change transpire? Ironically, my
transformation story began with a message of impossibility. As a teenager, the
situations surrounding me at that time significantly impacted my wellbeing. At
16, I went to my GP to ask for help, and they told me that I would likely always
suffer because of my experiences. Fortunately, someone challenged me to focus on
possibility. This new perspective changed everything. I turned to research. My
study began in my teens and continues to this day with my Masters in Counselling
and Psychotherapy. Fast forward, and with over twenty years of research combined
with practical knowledge, I deliver a service based on what works.
