I am a professional practicing artist and a qualified, experienced art tutor based in York. My extremely varied 30 year art career has centred around both theatre production and the teaching of adults. During this time I have designed shows, painted scenery and made props and costumes for theatre companies both here in the UK and abroad, and I have also taught in a wide variety of settings. More recently I have had the wonderful opportunity of developing and selling my own artwork.
I trained to teach dance to children and adults at Trinity Laban, London where I completed a Post Graduate Dance in the Community Diploma in 2006. After moving to Frome in 2007, I worked as a dance artist for the Participatory Arts Workshop Scheme in Wiltshire for 3 years and delivered dance projects to children and adults. I also taught a beginners Salsa course for Somerset Skills and Learning. I've been a tutor with Frome Community Education since it started in 2011.

Our goal is to ensure that each of our students are prepared to re-enter their classrooms better equipped to succeed!
