After working in healthcare, IT and other corporate environments, founders Harsha and Sophia realised they had too many skills and experience between themselves to not set up their own business, after all they were setting up care services for other companies, so why not start our own. If we can make someone else’s business succeed, we knew we can make ours succeed and bring quality and uniqueness as a new start up business from the get go. And this is how it started, Samaras Healthcare Recruitment Ltd was born, through the pandemic.   The founders found a gap in the market from doing social media. Yes we are in fact oldies in the social media world making YouTube, something we never thought we would do as why do people want to sit and watch us!! Harsha & Sophia noticed a gap in the market and everything was pointing to a sign to set this up….with Brexit happening, the pandemic and the health and social care industry in need of support of quality staffing we thought of linking the world together one step at a time; linking overseas workers in the UK with UK clients to try and bring in the quality and cultural aspects of people from all over the world to the world of care. Britain is evolving, with people from all walks of life living and settling in Britain. This also means that our clients are looking for carers from diverse backgrounds.   Samaras Healthcare offers carers to our clients from all types of backgrounds. From British citizens and people who have lived in the UK all their lives, to people from overseas who can bring a bit of difference to our service users lives. They all have one thing in common and something Samaras have built their empire on, which is they are caring and compassionate and are nurtured by Samaras to be the best they can be. Samaras Healthcare Recruitment Ltd, originated from the Directors Surname. As the surname was too long and we did not want it to become a nuisance, we decided to cut this down to half our name, and this is how Samaras was born!!. The Beauty Click was founded in April 2018 by Chantelle Bass. The idea came about as Chantelle has always been a working parent and understands how difficult it is to make time for beauty and hair treatments. She wanted to produce a website that has a platform for both the beauty and hair  specialists themselves and for the customers wanting to fit in appointments around their busy schedules. After being let down by her new child-minder for the umpteenth time, Chantelle bit the bullet gave up her sales career and put her all into launching this business. Chantelle’s life time friend Lauren came on board in June 2018, after understanding and sharing her vision she chose to also focus on building The Beauty Click brand. Lauren too is a parent and has dealt with the stresses of fitting things in around her parenting and work life. Chantelle’s career has mainly been within the sales and business development sector and Laurens within childcare, but both have also worked in the beauty industry and have a strong passion to be able to help those that want to learn new skills and move into the hair and beauty realm. After putting their full focus into the growth of The Beauty Click, working tirelessly to put into action the many ideas they’ve had and continue to envision, as well as being full time parents. It hasn’t been an easy journey so far but has been both exciting and inspiring, they are passionate and dedicated to the success of the company and are proud of the entrepreneurs they have become. A lot of the values of the business are to help parents get into flexible work by providing training and then to assist with a customer base, the Beauty Click has proved to be perfect for this. Also, to provide a solution for not just parents, but for everybody in this hectic world that we live in to keep up with regular self-care appointments or to allow for that cheeky pamper session. The Beauty Click is in a league of its own when it comes to Beauty on demand services. We do not set our prices, our members set their own. This means customers have a choice of the amount they are able or wanting to spend on treatments. We do not push out those that have a lower budget and we also have high end members that use exclusive products and have a higher price range. Manufacturing & Logistics - Our conflict resolution training successfully reduced absenteeism for a rail network customer by 84% over a year. Health & Social Care - By implementing our care sector-specific moving and handling training programme we reduced our customer's level of absenteeism and reported manual handling incidents by 38% in one year Special Education – We have developed bespoke training solutions for this sector and have on average saved schools around £700 a day in training costs. Our team and history: A successful business, established in 1994 by Paul Meek a former Operations Director of an ambulance service. Throughout Paul's career, he was exposed daily to the consequences of poorly managed risks, and this is what spurred Paul to establish Solutions Training, he wanted to bridge the visible but avoidable gaps in risk management and in particular health & safety education and the development of the equipment used to aid safer transportation of people. Our team are all members of the “National Back Exchange” and have been contributors to various working groups on developing good practice since 1995, including research into “what constitutes effective moving and handling training” performed by the Ergonomics Department at Loughborough University and in partnership developed topic-related awards at Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 which are on the regulated qualifications framework.
