“Every day’s a school day!” I believe this, not just because I have a background in teaching but because life has taught me this through experiences outside the classroom not just in it. My great passions are music, culture and learning. I have travelled extensively and have seen firsthand that regardless of personal story or background we are all incredibly unique and that means there is place in this world that only we as individuals can fill. My favourite things to do include playing the piano, beach or mountain walks, city breaks or a good book or movie. I love stories especially epic ones like Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia and have learnt that in truth we all long to see ourselves in a larger story where good triumphs over evil and the hero wins the day. To achieve this requires companionship and trustworthy allies, and for me this defines my goal in partnering with others as their life-coach. My role in life (apart from husband and father) is that of encourager; to walk alongside those who are struggling, or lost, or lonely and help them re-discover or perhaps discover for the first time their worth and value. I am patient and kind and naturally pastoral always regarding people as the priority over processes or profit.

DreamTeach Geography has been developed by a team of Geography teachers in order to provide a complete teaching package for the Geography Teacher. The team comprises of Geographers with a range of experience from ICT and SEN to department, faculty and senior leadership. We bring together developments in ICT, thinking skills and more traditional resources to offer a complete package that will help to stimulate, and improve the learning experience of pupils in your classroom. Our ethos is to offer an evolving product which will be improved, updated and expanded on a daily basis. Our "Geography in the News" pages, for example, will offer teaching resources as soon as geographical events occur around the world. Geography is the subject which lends itself to the use of interactive ICT resources in the best possible manner. This package makes Geography as interesting and accessible as possible for learners, from the fun and stimulating starter and plenary activities, to the carefully designed lesson activities.
