Lilley Lovett Theatre Group is a place for children to have fun, develop their performance skills and nurture a life-long love of musical theatre. We see their confidence grow with every passing week - it's a joy to witness! Our sessions are aimed at children and young people aged 4 - 18 years. We meet every week during term time at the Laughton Parish Hall. * Monday 3.15pm – 4.15pm ‘Little Lilley Lovetts’ for children in reception and year 1 * Monday 4.30pm – 6.30pm for school years 3 to 6 * Tuesday 3.15pm – 4.45pm for school year 2 * Saturday 10.00am – 1.00pm for school years 7+ Each year, we stage a full production for children in year 3 and above, including sets, costumes and lighting, which is open to the public. During the run up to the shows, we’ll get the children thinking about all of the aspects of putting on a production – from direction to costumes. We also organise optional trips to see professional shows outside of the sessions so the children can really appreciate the collaborative nature of putting on a show. We offer two trial sessions for children so they have time to settle into the sessions and decide whether they would like to become a full member of Lilley Lovett Theatre Group. Membership fees are charged termly at a rate of £8 per hour. Discounts are available for siblings and we have a limited number of scholarship places available.

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is an independent charity working to benefit students and higher education, and one of the world’s experts in quality assurance. We work with governments, agencies and institutions globally to benefit UK higher education and its international reputation. In England, we have two distinct roles, which we keep separate through an ‘ethical barrier’ or firewall. A ring-fenced team fulfils our role as the Designated Quality Body in England, providing reviews and advice to the regulator, the Office for Students (OfS). Separately, we provide services and advice to our member institutions in England, including support with quality enhancement activities. We do not provide any guidance to institutions in England on how to meet the regulator’s requirements. In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, there is no such separation of roles, and our quality enhancement and membership work is provided in concert with, and informed by, our quality assurance activities. We work closely with all higher education providers and the respective funders and regulators, in line with the policy and regulatory approach of each nation.
