Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse is an autonomous state higher school. It was transformed with a Decision of the People's Assembly of 21 June 1995 and is a successor of the higher technical school, established in Ruse on 12.11.1945. There are eight faculties in the structure of the University: Agrarian and Industrial Faculty, Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering Electronics and Automation, Faculty of Transport, Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Education, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Public Health and Healthcare, two Branches of Ruse University in Silistra and Razgrad and a Bulgarian and Romanian Inter-university Europa Centre. The strategic priorities of the University are as follows: preparation of students for work in the conditions of strong competition on the labour market and expanding the scope of training; development of the intra-university system for quality control in education; development of the staff and research potential; implementation of a set of activities in the field of European integration and international relations; building up of a well-organised university system, flexible with respect to the external conditions, with modern facilities and information database. The teaching staff consists of 499 highly qualified full-time lecturers, of whom 49 professors, 177 associate professors and 296 PhD lecturers. A great number of renowned specialists in different spheres of knowledge also teach part-time at the University. Student residences and facilities for sport and leisure are provided for all students willing to use them.

ABOUT US Multiflex School Sports was originally started in 1989 by athletics coaches Tom Davies and Ron Newton. The original company name was T & R Sports Development. T & R Sports Development were given financial backing by ICI and later Astra Zeneca to deliver a sporting programme to Primary schools and High Schools to enthuse young children about sport. This programme used high achievers in sport such as Great Britain international athletes and professional Basketball players to deliver a programme that not only developed fitness and skill levels of young children but increased their enjoyment of sport and gave them a route into sports clubs outside of the school environment. Following the success of this programme Multiflex Sports was formed and went on to continue this sporting programme with local authorities and also Sports-hall athletics and Eveque sport and leisure. In 2005 the government introduced P.P.A. (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) to all UK Primary Schools. This meant that all teachers would then be allocated 2 hours a week away from their class timetable to make use of their PPA time effectively. Coincidently 2 hours a week is also the amount of time each child should receive P.E. lessons for so Multiflex altered their business model to provide PPA cover for schools in and around Cheshire. Mark Webb who is the Managing director of Multiflex realised there was an opportunity to provide high quality P.E. lessons in line with the National curriculum guidance on a weekly basis, whilst also providing support for schools and teachers through PPA cover. Multiflex developed a P.E. scheme for Primary schools that covered 6 areas of sport in line with the curriculum. Tropical Coast Languages is a Spanish school located in Almuñécar. Since 1992 we have been dedicated exclusively to teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Studying Spanish at TCLanguages has all the guarantees. Backed by more than 20 years of experience, our school is an Accredited Center of the Cervantes Institute, so our Spanish courses are adapted to its curricular project and, therefore, to the levels and competencies of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Southend Adult Community College (SACC) is Southend Borough Council’s provider of adult education, providing education and training to more than 5,000 learners. SACC provides 100s of part-time leisure courses, English, maths, employability courses, traineeships, vocational qualifications, CPD and industry specific training for adults and for young people 16+ apprenticeships and full-time vocational programmes. SACC provides community outreach provision and family learning in local community venues and employee training and assessment on employer premises. SACC has three activity centres, its main Southchurch Centre, an adult centre at Belfairs Academy in Leigh and a specialist centre for young adults with complex and profound learning difficulties and disabilities in Westcliff. At our last Ofsted inspection, SACC was judged for the second time as a good college with outstanding features. Key findings are: • success rates have improved over the last few years and many are well above national rates • learners develop good practical, vocational and employability skills. They make good progress in developing these skills • learners on study programmes do well. The college has made a significant contribution to reducing the number of young people in the borough who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) • staff are particularly effective at finding good work placements for learners on employability programmes. These placements relate directly to learners’ aims and provide good workplace experience • teachers use their professional skills and knowledge well to help learners relate their studies to the world of work and gain employment or promotion • staff, at all levels, create good partnerships with a range of agencies. They use these partnerships well to help learners develop a range of useful skills • leaders work well to create, and monitor the effectiveness of a curriculum that meets the needs of learners and the local community.

It seems almost unbelievable what a huge development F AIR has undergone during its existence. The original intention to found a company for the pleasure of flying has grown into one of the largest aviation schools in Central and Eastern Europe. We are extremely proud of the fact that we became the first private flight school in the Czech Republic in the early nineties, and that we defended our primacy in 2000, when we were the first to meet the requirements of the European Joint Aviation Regulations JAR-FCL 1 (Joint Aviation Rules) and thus became the international school CZ/FTO-001. Today, we can teach flying to a person of mature age who just wants to experience and feel the beauty of the third dimension, as well as a young boy or girl who wants to fulfill their dream and become a pilot of a commercial plane. Our school has the most modern technology and methodology it uses to train pilots, a corps of experienced instructors and a background that provides excellent conditions not only for students in training, but also for pilots who come to rent planes from us. In addition to the aviation school, our main services include aircraft sales and service, aircraft rental, aviation work, events for companies, aviation advertising and adventure flights. Even in these areas, we try to do everything to make our customers feel at home. We want to be a pleasant and meaningful place to provide all aviation services and to spend leisure time on the ground and in the air. Applied Behaviour Analysis is the science of behaviour and learning of socially significant behaviours. They need to be meaningful to the people we serve and support them in achieving a better quality of life. Examples of socially significant behaviours are as below: Requesting for wants and needs Learning to use the toilet Learning play, social and leisure skills Being able to perform independent living skills and self-help tasks Learning academic skills Increasing the variety of foods Improving levels of tolerance to medical procedures and routine appointment such as the dentist and the hairdresser We can also use the science of ABA to teach individuals readiness for learning skills and decrease behaviours of concern which include skills such as: Cooperation Expanding preference for items and activities Flexibility Reducing excessive and inappropriate behaviours Attending skills Reducing behavioural supports in line with learner readiness and the acquisition of independence Behaviours of concern include: Feeding, Sleep and inappropriate and excessive behaviours such as teaching a child to stop when out and about and reducing throwing behaviour. Other examples are challenging behaviours which include self-injury and aggression towards others. Applied Behaviour Analysis has been used with a variety of populations including those with autism and developmental disabilities (Van Houten et al, 1988; Roane et al, 2016). Studies show the effectiveness of ABA in the teaching of children with developmental disabilities when compared with eclectic approaches (Howard et. al, 2005). However, ABA is not just used with autism and developmental disabilities. ABA can also also be used: In organisations as part of staff training (Parsons, Hollinson & Reid, 2010) With individuals that require self-management strategies to deal with areas they are struggling with such as addiction (Petry, N. M. et al, 2000) To help with anxiety and depression (Hayes, S & Smith, S., 2005). ABA is also used successfully in animal training (Pryor, K., 1999). ABA literature has studies published and evidence based research in each of the above areas. This list is not exhaustive.
