Talent Tuition

London

Talent tuition is based in Coventry and has been established since 2008. Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where students are encouraged to maximise and reach their potential, whether it be working on their weaknesses or building on their strengths. We want our students to succeed and achieve the highest grades possible. We always have qualified Maths, Science and English tutors to hand, who are able to engage with students at various levels, whether it be; i.e. Their 11+ exams, SATs, GCSE's or A levels. Talent tuition has supported many students in a variety of subjects at various levels, together with those students who are due to sit their entrance exams. Over the years we have seen all our students benefit from this tutoring system, from those who have achieved higher grades to those gaining further confidence in their abilities. These students have been supported in reaching their potential and have successfully moved on to further education. All our tutors are professional, have vast amounts of experience, enthusiastic and extremely friendly. They create the tone of each session, which is tailored to the needs of the individual student, where they can work at their own pace and are encouraged to exceed expectations. Classwork and homework is continually monitored, assessed and constructive feedback is always given. We provide a tutoring service for a range of subjects; from Primary, Secondary and A Level where our sessions follow the national curriculum. Talent tuition promises to stay up to date with new curriculums and provide for all exam boards (E.g. OCR, AQA and Edexcel). With our facilities and excellent tutors, we provide an environment which is ideal for your child to succeed.

The Trinity Catholic School A Voluntary Academy

Nottingham

On behalf of the students, staff and governors we wish to welcome you to the website of The Trinity Catholic School. The history of the school can be traced as far back as 1844 when the Sisters of Mercy came to Nottingham and opened St Mary’s Elementary School and St Catherine’s Day and Boarding School on this site. Since then as the demands for the Catholic education grew within Nottingham so has the school, to the special place it is today educating over eleven hundred young people. The school is an active member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, along with the other twenty Catholic schools within Nottinghamshire. We are a Catholic school with the aim of developing our young people spiritually, socially and academically with Christ at the centre of our work. Our school motto, ‘Ad de Gloriam’ meaning what we do we offer to the glory of God, underpins the ethos of the school. This is developed further within our school mission statement: “To the Glory of God, we build our school on faith, love and respect” Academically we are consistently one of the highest performing schools within Nottingham City both at GCSE and A-Level. We ensure that all our students secure an appropriate next pathway in their education upon leaving Trinity, whether that be an apprenticeship, studying in our thriving sixth form or, following A-Levels, securing a place at a top university. Beyond the curriculum, we offer unrivalled opportunities in music, where all students take up an instrument, play in an orchestra and learn to read music. In sport, we are extremely proud of our offer and achievements particularly in football, netball, rugby and handball. We run a highly successful Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and have a rich programme of extra-curricular activities for everyone.

Cheshire Exam Success

cheshire exam success

All our tutors, for revision sessions and weekly group tutoring, are teachers with relevant experience, current curriculum knowledge and skills to be able to ensure revision sessions are specific to the exact exam board and assessment objectives. All tutors are inspiring and can engage and motivate students to succeed and be confident learners. I am a history teacher of 25 years, with over 15 years of examiner experience covering all exam boards. I currently examine for WJEC (Educas),Edexcel and AQA GCSE and AQA and Edexcel A Level. I lead courses all over the country that cover exam technique, revision strategies and history specific knowledge. I also work with schools to improve departments and increase student outcomes. I have been a subject leader and Head of Faculty for many years and understand what is required to enable students to make the greatest progress. With that in mind I have Jayne_mackay a team of experienced teachers, that I have worked with over the years, to lead the revision sessions. All teach the range of student ability and will ensure that the sessions are pitched at the right level for your child to enable them to develop and make progress from their starting points. Intensive revision sessions can motivate your children to approach their revision more independently and give them the tools to achieve their very best. The smaller class sizes means more individual attention, which is beneficial in improving results. The work of Cheshire Exam Success will supplement what is done in school and will provide consolidation and enrichment. I have a year 13 child of my own and am aware of the pressure and increasing demands on students to achieve, by using Cheshire Exam Success you can be assured your child will gain that extra support that will allow them to gain their best possible result. Stokesley School

stokesley school

North Yorkshire

Stokesley School enjoys a strong reputation within the local community and beyond. Our students are well known for achieving high academic outcomes: we outperform a range of national attainment figures at GCSE and A-Level. We also have excellent progression rates with many of our students following higher education courses and, ultimately, career paths in medicine, veterinary science and mechanical engineering, to name but a few. Like all schools, we have areas to improve, but the dedication of our professional staff means we are driving forward change at a rapid rate and are at a really exciting time in our development. Furthermore, academic achievement does not tell the full story of our school: it is equally important to us to develop our students as responsible and sensitive young adults, fostering within them core values of integrity, empathy, diligence, discipline, perseverance and – perhaps above all else – kindness. Our values at school are simple: we want our students to be ready, respectful and ambitious, and these are underpinned by the school’s motto of ‘being the best we can be’. We do not believe in zero tolerance as every child is different, but we do believe that all children can achieve high standards of conduct and performance regardless of their background or personal circumstances. As part of the Areté Learning Trust, we are an outward facing school: we work closely with our partner academies, Richmond School and Sixth Form College and Northallerton School and Sixth Form College, and also collaborate with other local schools on a range of projects. This enables us to be highly reflective as a staff and constantly seek new opportunities to promote success for the young people in our care. The Headteacher of Stokesley School is Mrs Hannah Millett who can be contacted via the school.

Touch Typing for Kids

touch typing for kids

LONDON

Touch Typing is an essential life skill and we find that children who learn accurately to literally type without looking at their fingers, will save time in producing homework and in exams etc. As experienced Specialist Teachers, we are able to effectively differentiate and individualise touch typing challenges so that all students achieve their potential. Multi-sensory learning, through games and incentives, create a brilliantly fun atmosphere in which children aged 7 upwards, thrive! We have children who want to learn good basic typing skills and those who need this skill in order to type for GCSEs, and A Level exams. Note taking, punctuation skills and real time typing under pressure are also explored with the advanced students. An encouraging, motivating and uplifting environment is created in which children of all learning abilities thrive. We specialise in helping children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and hypermobility as well as for those just want to learn it as a life skill, or for application towards the skill section of the DofE levels. Our testimonies tell of children literally loving the courses to such an extent, that they often come back time and time again, bringing their siblings and friends for follow up courses! At Touch Typing for Kids, we teach children how to improve their speed and accuracy. If you'd like more information about our children's touch typing lessons, drop us an email. Seth and Delia's years of specialist teaching experience put them in an excellent position to differentiate typing objectives for the individual learner during these multi-sensory touch typing courses. Teaching this skill is one of the many hats Delia and Seth wear during their working life, as they both run the Hampstead Dyslexia Clinic (Est. 1984) and individually run the Hampstead Dyslexia Consultancy and London Dyslexia Clinic.

The Premspec Group

the premspec group

Cardiff

The PGL group (originally PremSpec electrical products limited) was founded in 2012 in Cardiff, Wales. The company was created to provide the electrical industry with products of the highest certified quality through carefully selected stockist partners across the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East. As an independently run company with family values, we ensure that we remain flexible to our stockist's and contractors' needs. The Premspec Group has seen tremendous growth in the industry since its inception in 2012. Our factory has established itself as a leading manufacturer of British wiring accessories. Outstanding quality, value, and reliability are just some of the qualities our products have been associated with since being introduced to the market. We give each item within the Premspec group product divisions a duty of care and a level of detail that the industry deserves. This ensures that our incredibly high standards in quality are sustained throughout the entire range. A testimony to this is the Intertek certification that is held by every item that we manufacture here at the Premspec group. This means that our products have met the criteria of the highest and most respected testing organisation available. At PGL we have a multitude of brands that are all run independently with their own dedicated staff and focus. Two of whom are considered among the market's best available products. Ascot Heating, a now well-established brand within the renewable heating market, has seen awards and accreditations in the last few years that its competitors do not. Whilst Verso has gone to new heights thanks to its incredible forward-thinking approach to the traditional domestic electrical market. Focusing on installation features and safety, placed a range of circuit protection and wiring accessories within the market that had previously been subject to cheap and under-engineered alternatives.

Brinnand Coaching

brinnand coaching

I started my career in HR, working my way up from HR Administrator to partnering with senior leaders to support organisational change and growth. I loved the variety of HR but the best bit for me was having great one to one conversations, asking insightful questions to allow people the time and space to really think - and seeing them grow as a result. I’m very privileged that I can now focus on this as a career as a Coach. I’ve worked in a variety of industries, including Defense, Aviation and Technology but the part of my job that I always loved was having 1:1 purposeful conversations, that helped the person solve a problem for themselves or see something in a new way. My first experience of being coached was early on in my career where I was able to discover insights and a level of self-awareness that I still reflect on today. I’ve since had coaching sessions at key points in my career when I’ve felt stuck and am a huge advocate of the transformation it can bring. I love seeing the ‘a-ha’ moments that a coaching conversation brings to help people to move forward. I’m excited to meet future clients to explore your story and help you with your own transformation. My Qualifications I graduated from the University of West of England (UWE) with a 2:1 in Business Studies. I then went onto to study for a Diploma in Human Resource Management, also at UWE. In 2019 I completed an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Fundamentals of Coaching and Mentoring, and am currently studying an ILM level 7 Executive & Senior Level Coaching with In Good Company.
