We teach Arabic as a language, Islamic Studies & Quran with Ahkam - We take children from the age of 4 - All classes based on levels to personalise learning & maximise potential. Our levels are from Level 1 to GCSE. - We provide a range of courses throughout the week including a Saturday school, a weekday after school course, Hifz courses and much more. - All courses focus on Arabic, Islamic Studies and Quran - All courses are on an annual basis - We are currently operating from two sites: Walthamstow @ Holy Family and South Woodford Islamic Centre @ SWIC-Iqraa - We have entered a collaboration with South Woodford Islamic Centre and are now running our services at SWIC.

The sessions are engaging and interactive and include a range of activities and group work to reinforce learning. Upon purchase the school receives the package for one year and logins are unlimited allowing the course to be used often as is needed and at a time that suits the school’s timetable. Sign Source for Schools is suitable for all post-primary year groups and is an effective and achievable option to give as many students as possible the foundation and skills to converse in sign language. Included in the package is a home learning course for revision and individual study.

I set up cheekyhandmades after I left my job 2010. I really wanted to use all my creative skills, skills I’d had for many years but never had time to use any more, and skills I realised I could and wanted to pass on. I also wanted to work for myself, I wanted to be able to work around my children. And I am doing all of that now, and am loving it. I get to be surrounded by like minded people, great fabrics, my kids and cats, and listen to music all day. I get to decide what I do every day and how I do it.

Hello and welcome! I’m delighted you found me here in my little corner of the internet. When I started blogging in 2010 on a very clunky laptop, I had no clue at all that Poppy Loves London and all that it encompasses, would become my full time and very much loved job. Here you’ll find me writing about things I love now and have loved over the years, including my favourite fashion finds, travel destinations, recipes, homeware and coffee haunts. I’ve written endlessly about cosy cafes to hide away in and fancy restaurants for celebrations, my latest beauty finds, bakeries (the cake!) gorgeous interiors, books I’ve adored and all things knitwear. Oh, and jumpsuits. (Oh, and dresses…) And of course, you can’t shut me up about my home city, London. What a place it is… I have over a decade of experience in working in branding, social media and communications so I understand the influencer world from both sides, which has been incredibly valuable over the years and has meant that I have been able to work with and support some of my favourite brands and businesses. Helping people drive more business and revenue via their Instagram accounts is something I’m immensely proud of – I’ve loved every second. I live in Walthamstow, London with my husband and daughter, Isabelle, who was born in 2018. After a fairly traumatic few months for us all, while she suffered enormously with reflux, we all popped out the other end with a huge sigh of relief and she is now a proper walking, talking human and the funniest person I know. She can also out-eat me in crumpets, which you should know, is exceptionally impressive. Thank you for all your support over the years, through the ups and downs, through pregnancy and pandemics – it’s been such a pleasure to write for you all and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings… Eva x

What is Yoga4Health? Yoga In Healthcare Alliance* (YIHA) is a UK-registered charity dedicated to integrating the benefits of yoga into healthcare. YIHA works with the NHS and other health professionals to support patients and help them make lifestyle changes. YIHA was commissioned by the NHS to create the 10-week Yoga4Health social prescribing programme which is delivered by Yoga4Health teachers, including me, in the UK and abroad. Paul Fox, Chief Operating Officer, YIHA says “The Yoga4Health programme is about empowering people to discover how much better they can feel by adopting a simple daily yoga practice. A large proportion of illness could be avoided or mitigated if people became more active and changed unhealthy behaviours for healthy ones. Activating patients to feel they are in control of their health and can take steps to boost their physical and mental wellbeing is key. At the same time, our programme aims to take them on a beautiful journey into their body, breath and mind to become more accepting, aware, mindful and kind to themselves.
