We are a volunteer led work with very few staff, but this does not mean we are a small organization. We can see as many as 300 people a day, looking for our assistance. We remain open every day Our impact remains high We can do this for a fraction of the cost of other day centres. We do this without any statutory funding. We recognize the true strength of our volunteers. And we recognize the value of everybody coming through our doors. First, we help people by meeting immediate needs: food, shelter, clothing, and medical care. In our recovery programs, we address deeper needs for life-skills and job-skills training, and addiction recovery. We measure our progress against four criteria, which indicate to us that a life has been transformed from homelessness to hope: connection to family, commitment to sobriety, a job and a place to live, and a plan for the future. Today, The Whitechapel Mission is a results-oriented organization that is recognized as one of London's most effective. Our Purpose The Whitechapel Mission is called to serve the men and women caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy and lasting productivity. Our Goal To be the most effective provider of compassionate care and life transformation for hurting people in London. As a traditional goldsmith with over 20 years of experience, Jasmin’s passion for jewellery design never faded. In Jasmin´s words: As a child I always wanted to become a true renaissance man or, in my case, woman. I dreamed of being a painter, sculptor and innovator living a life solving the mysteries of the world like Leonardo da Vinci or Michelangelo. So I became a goldsmith, learning the ancient art of working with precious metals and intriguing gemstones. During my years in the jewellery business I had the wonderful opportunity to work with renowned jewellery artists, like Wendy Ramshaw, Jacqueline Mina and others to design high-end collections and to make jewellery in every metal I could possibly lay my hands on (palladium and niobium are still amongst my favourites). Ultimately, I discovered my passion for teaching. Through my association with one of the most prestigious jewellery schools in the world (GIA) I have inspired hundreds of students in such far-flung locations as Thailand, Italy and California. With my many classes, I have combined the intricacies of jewellery design with the elements of technology, using the latest CAD/CAM developments, whilst sharing both my joy and undiminished affection for an industry that I have been involved with for all my working life. Today, I still do what I love. I run my own jewellery business, Jaqc Jewellery and Jaqc Jewellery Academy, offer design consultancy, and illustrate jewellery for a variety of companies. Now I want to help you realise your creative ambitions, by sharing my skills and show you how to design, manufacture and illustrate amazing jewellery.

At ilmburst, we are very excited about launching this project. Excited, because we are passionate about nurturing our children from a young age, nurturing in them a love for their religion and nurturing their spiritual development. The idea for ilmburst began when we found that many of us as parents don’t have the confidence to teach our children their religion. This is due to a variety of reasons. Some of us feel we don’t have the knowledge and ability, others among us don’t have the time to research and prepare the material needed to teach our children and yet others are afraid that they may teach something incorrectly or use inauthentic material. We aim to help change that, in sha Allah. We should all be able to help teach our children in an engaging and fun way. What better way to bond with your children than doing something which is pleasing to Allah? Using the individual skills and talents of our team we have brought together people qualified in Islamic studies, education and teaching experience to create a wide variety of resources across a wide breadth of subjects, which are then designed using professional design software to ensure high quality. Our vision is to help nurture a generation of Muslims who are proud and confident of their Islam, and who then use this confidence to excel academically, into their chosen career paths and be role models within their communities. We ask Allah, the Most High, to grant us all success as parents and teachers, and that He blesses our children and makes them a source of happiness and joy for us in this world and the next.

She cares for a diverse clientele from all over the world such as royalty, celebrities, entrepreneurs, mothers, property developers, and artists. People are needlessly suffering from anxiety, depression, loneliness, and a variety of ailments that deplete them physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. They feel lost inside them while putting up a mask of bravery, courage, and confidence…….. sometimes they do not even realise they are lost. After many years of caring for and seeing her clients she has come to the great realisation that saying Yes to Life is a choice each person has to make. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Toks has personally had to deal with the death and loss of her unborn children, partner, family members (mother, father, grandparents, uncles, aunts) and friends. Her life lessons have taught her the importance of self-reflection, honesty, and truth. Toks believes that life is like the vast ocean, looking calm on top, but in turmoil under. Surfing the waves of life is a wonderful challenge of facing your suffering, limiting beliefs, fears, negative emotions, thoughts, behaviour, etc. and transforming them to love, peace, joy, harmony, and happiness. This is what her Yes to Life is all about. When she shares her knowledge and insights she speaks from her vast experience, learnings, and training. Her ability to turn poison to medicine with her insights, wisdom, and mentoring is testimony to who she is at heart. “Toks you are so easy to love.” said a lady after 5 days with her. Our Mission Building sustainable communities around sport facilities, connecting visionary actors in sport, development, politics and business to community needs and opportunities.Dream Fields was created by former colleagues from international football who wanted to use their experience in sport for the good of communities around the world. In their daily work, Colin, David, Emilia and Stuart had witnessed the power of sport first hand, be it in the incredible stories of women who fought against all odds just to get the chance to play the beautiful game, or in the children kicking a makeshift ball in a slum where the game seemed to wipe off their worries and create the brightest of smiles on their faces. Dream Fields was born out of the hope to spread this joy and grow it into sustainability livelihoods for communities where everyone has the right to play. The Dream Fields concept was born from this search for not merely ‘sport for good’ but ‘sport for sustainable and prosperous communities’. In 2021, co-founder Stuart decided to embark on a journey to better understand the real issues around sport and sustainability. As part of a course with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership, he presented a general concept of how a sports facility could become the focal point of driving a local economy with a heavy focus on environmental sustainability, ultimately hoping to reach the level of interdependence seen in various symbiosis projects globally. After completing the programme, Stuart shared the concept with former colleagues Colin, David and Emilia. As the concept grew wings, Samy joined the team to bring in his operations and engineering expertise. - Dream Fields was born.

We chose to work with spices like no other brands do, because spices can provide all the flavors a dish would need, so cooking and baking with our nut butters is easy and won’t require lots of other ingredients. This is why chefs love to work with our products and restaurants and gym’s cafes have items on their menus using Filthy Fit nut butters. I am a goldsmith, an artist, a craftsperson, a dreamer and a maker. I take great pride in being part of a long chain of makers who have carried on the tradition of handmade jewellery. The permanence, longevity and portability of jewellery provides a rich history in the story of being human. I am proud that my work is part of so many stories of love, celebration and joy. My work is influenced by the play of line and form found in nature and architecture. I enjoy exploring the drama of mixed materials, textures, and surface treatments in my work. I use these influences to create pieces that are contemporary and will stand the test of time. All of my designs are made in my studio in the UK. I specialise in small batch production runs meaning that my work is never mass-produced and is crafted with my own hands. I also offer bespoke commission pieces for those in search of unique and personal items to commemorate special occasions and life events. See my blog page for more details of bespoke work. ETHICS As a human, a mother and a maker I endeavour to be as environmentally responsible as I can in all my practices. This means using recycled precious metal in all my designs, sourcing precious gems through ethical suppliers and using packaging made of FSC Eco materials. I aim to keep business and workshop waste at an absolute minimum, I recycle everything I can and I use no harsh chemicals in my processes. All that said I am not perfect but I do my very best to be responsible. I keep myself educated and informed about what best options are available to me as a maker and promote those ideas and ethics onto my customers and students.
