School of Coding focuses on running projects around BAME communities to ensure that they have an equal chance of finding work opportunities as we believe it’s crucial that everyone is seen for their talent regardless of their background, socioeconomics status and beliefs. Digitalization has allowed School of Coding to improve the quality of their education through techniques such as online classes. School of Coding provides education using digitalization to give their students transferable skills which will provide them with equal opportunities as to be successful in the workplace of the future, people will need to have the right digital education. This will give those who are unemployed the chance to learn new skills and be able to be at the same levels as those around them.

I help individuals and organisations use drawing & Sketchnoting to think, learn and work better. My work is grounded in L&D and OD practice gained over 30 years working in and with organisations as a consultant. Here are five ways I can work with you: Commission a Sketchnote - you could commission me to create a Sketchnote for you. Sketchnotes make use of a combination of words & simple pictures to make memorable notes. A number of clients have commissioned Sketchnotes of one-off special events and also for regular sessions to provide a visual record of the session - participants get to see the Sketchnote developing. Or you could get me to create a Sketchnote to communicate a particular message - in the past year I have created Sketchnotes to commemorate an organisational anniversary and to communicate a change in approach to wellbeing. You could learn to Sketchnote - I offer regular virtual workshops providing an introduction to Sketchnoting. I also offer these sessions in-house and have a version aimed particularly for students with a Sketchnoting for Studying focus. The sessions are practical and friendly. Thirdly, I have developed over the last year the concept of 'Reflect & Sketch' sessions in which drawing is used as a tool to help participants to slow down and as a prompt to reflection. I have tailored these sessions to integrate with wider leadership development programmes, sessions focusing on innovation & creativity and sessions on inclusion & diversity. Fourthly, I offer 'Relax & Draw' sessions which are short sessions based around drawing to encourage relaxation - each session has a theme which is often based around nature. Or if completing the Yachtmaster Offshore prep you will arrange with the school to book a RYA Examiner to take the 8/10 hour practical exam soon afterwards. To take this course(Coastal) you will have completed at least 15 days, 300 miles, 8 night hours and 2 days as skipper on board a sailing yacht, and must be 17 for Coastal and 18 for Yachtmaster Offshore for which you will need 2500 miles and three skippered passages over 60 miles plus 50 night hours. 5 Day Sailing Course - £695 RYA Instructor/Student Ratio max 1:5. This course is a requirement for anyone who owns a fixed or handheld marine VHF radio. The Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with a radio. I first found yoga in 2007, while travelling Asia, and the physicality of the practice caught my interest right away (such as supporting my weak lower back at the time), but also to quieten my mind and centre myself through my adventures.   Soon after, I trained in Ayurvedic Medicine as well as Ayurvedic Massage and found a holistic way to combine Ayurveda, Hatha Yoga and modern practices into enhancing my everyday wellbeing, as well as teaching others how to do the same. I have immersed myself in many sound therapy sessions. The feeling you get from being surrounded by intense sounds and vibrations is of grounded serenity. This helped me thrive through this time, bringing stillness to my mind and body. I incorporate this sound bowl therapy into all my yoga classes, so you too can experience the benefits. I am based in Stafford, where I have formed a fun, cool and welcoming yoga community. My intention as a professional yoga instructor is to help students listen to their inner selves and find the courage to step out of their comfort zone. Just like playing an instrument or sport needs practice, so does yoga. Nobody will be able to do all the yoga postures in the first class, even as an experienced yoga teacher, I still need to practice. Yoga is more than just getting into a posture and stretching the body. Yoga teaches you to be present and shows you ways to calm the mind. It is not at all competitive.  On the Path of Mindfulness You may practice yoga as we do in the UK, to relax, stretch and become more flexible. But yoga can be more than that. When you truly get into it and take the time to focus on your breathing, within an extended hold of the pose (as we do in Hatha Yoga), you adjust, you feel, you listen, you focus.  A light bulb starts to shine somewhere in your mind, your endorphins take over, you start to surrender, you may smile, you become one with the present moment - that’s when the true magic occurs.   Being present is a lifelong journey in itself and something I am still focusing on daily. It’s not easy and it doesn’t happen overnight, but through yoga, mindfulness and gratitude we lean closer and closer to being ever so present.  This is something I bring a lot of focus to in my yoga classes. It helps us to feel what is happening right now - not what happened or will happen, but what is happening. Take a deep breath right now - what do you feel? You feel the gift of the present moment.    Smiling is mandatory in my yoga classes - as I do believe humour and fun are key to experiencing the present moment and to releasing fabulous uplifting hormones. Believe me: this approach has helped me through many tough times.  Yoga has been a life changer for me, in times of worry, anxiety, the lows and the highs…it’s provided me with the opportunity to reflect, go within and come out of those times feeling totally nurtured and ready to take on every single chapter. My only hope is that you also feel this from the yoga practice.  I offer in-person yoga classes in Stafford, for small groups or 1-2-1. I am also qualified to offer holistic coaching, Massage Therapy and chakra energy balancing.

I mainly works with groups in a class or workshop setting as well as with privates clients from my home studio. I always love witnessing the integration process that begins with movement and breath awareness.   My work reaches out to a broad range of people including people suffering with physical ailments such as; physical tension, pain, general wear and tear, injury and mis-alignment, as well as working alongside clients suffering with mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, insomnia, depression, trauma…  My therapeutic approach integrates many tools and resources which help aid the healing process for both the mind (Cognitive) & body (Somatic) in a profound way. Many people carry traumatic experiences in their body which can have a detrimental effect on their quality of life and wellbeing.  Trauma has many characteristics; anxiety, stress, anger, physical pain, insomnia, panic attacks, depression and other physical and mental depilating illnesses.  I teach the art of embodiment and Interoceptive awareness to help create a new map, a new experience for her clients – releasing old patterns that may be getting in the way of them having a “better life”. Think of it as a ‘new life map’!

Information is vital to make sure people enjoy their rights. This is why in our organisation we place special emphasis on our outreach activity. We organise online and face-to-face information sessions about the EU Settlement Scheme and the impact of Brexit on EU citizens rights for different audiences. Since our foundation, we have organised more than 70 information sessions, visited more than 30 locations in Scotland and spoke to hundreds of EU citizens, employers, local authorities and third sector organisations. Outreach and drop-in clinics for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and their family members These sessions are aimed at informing attendees of the measures they need to take in order to remain in Scotland after Brexit. Although not exclusively, we organise this type of session focusing on three main sectors: ? EU citizens living outside of Scotland’s central belt ? EU citizens, anywhere in Scotland, requiring interpretation ? Vulnerable EU citizen groups and individuals, throughout Scotland. This type of support is extremely important for EU citizens in Scotland who are concerned about what would happen to their rights after Brexit. As we know from our previous outreach and information work, there are still many EU citizens who are not sure about how to apply, have faced difficulties in making application or simply don’t know that they have to undergo this process to reside legally in the UK after 30/06/2021. In these sessions, attendees learn what the EU Settlement Scheme is; when and how to apply; their rights as an EU citizen living in Scotland; and services and resources to support them. Depending on the type and length of the event, attendees needing help with the application process can either book individual appointments with a trained OISC Level 1 (limited to the EUSS) adviser or get help on the spot.
