I was born in the 1960s in Somerset, UK the eldest of two daughters of Heather and Nick Bune. My mum was a housewife and dad a welder after starting an early career as a coal miner. The coal mining industry ran in the blood of my family as both grandfathers and all of my great grandfathers were coal miners. I grew up in a happy, loving home where money was always tight. There were no daytrips, no foreign holidays for me – in fact we didn’t have a telephone until I was a teenager and we didn’t have a car until I’d left home. At school I was one of those children who sits in the middle, grey and unnoticed, yet plodding on. I got seven O levels and a qualification in touch typing –my careers ‘adviser’ told me I should am to be a secretary or a nurse. Not a chance! However, I didn’t do as well in my A levels as expected and ended up going to a more ‘lowly’ college of higher education, now Bath Spa University. I took a degree in English Literature & History and loved it. I did well in my degree, getting a high 2:1 and took a PGCE and trained to be a teacher though quickly realised this was not for me. I always wanted to be a journalist – I used that year to apply for any relevant job. I eventually got a traineeship on a local newspaper in Somerset, then two years later moved on to a daily newspaper in Swindon, where I went on to be crime reporter and then business editor. I was also running as a volunteer a radio programme for Hospital Radio Swindon.

Hello! Welcome to our website! Who are we? In 2014 Imagine That Drama Classes began with a simple objective – to offer quality, affordable drama classes for the young people of Airdrie. Over the years our classes have grown from strength to strength and in 2020 we became Imagine That Performing Arts Ltd. Our own studios are now located in the most beautiful listed building at the heart of the community. Our students work with our qualified, experienced tutors from the performing arts industry as well as a range of industry experts from across the UK to reach their potential. Imagine That Performing Arts bridges the gap between ‘drama clubs’ and performing arts education. Our range of classes and the opportunities we offer ensure that all students needs are catered for, whether you are just looking for a new hobby or if you want to pursue a career in the arts. We pride ourselves in the opportunities we offer to our students. All students take part in regular productions, as well as theatre trips, casting opportunities, and masterclasses. Check out our blog to see some of our recent activities! Our students have gone on to star in TV shows, Hollywood films, and to pursue their dreams studying Music and Musical Theatre at university and college. We strongly believe that youth theatre should not be bad theatre. We want our young people to have the opportunity to perform in quality productions that they can feel proud of. We imagine a society that realises how important the arts are. We imagine a generation who believe in themselves. We imagine a world where having fun is a priority. We imagine a world where you are able to truly express yourself. We imagine a world where our imaginations can run wild and free! Imagine, Believe, Achieve! Imagine That Performing Arts.

When I experienced kinesiology for digestive issues, it literally changed my life for the better. My digestive discomfort disappeared, I had more energy and felt the recommendations given for dietary choices improved my health and wellbeing. From that moment, I was determined to learn and train as a Kinesiologist to support friends, family and clients with health conditions. Having practised kinesiology for over 10 years, I have supported clients with varying health problems including digestive, fertility, hormonal, stress, structural/joint issues, skin conditions as well as clients in pain. I love seeing the progress of individuals who have felt the benefit of the session. I give guidance and support for lifestyle and nutritional changes so clients can make informed decisions on improving their health and wellbeing. I am also passionate about delivering both the Foundation and Diploma courses in kinesiology. I provide personalised courses to suit all levels of expertise and tailor the course to suit your individual needs and requirements. Whether it's learning the foundation course to add muscle response testing and techniques to current qualification or for supporting family and friends, foundation Kinesiology is a great starting point for balanced health. Moving forward onto the professional Diploma qualification is also an option as a new career opportunity. It is fantastic to see students I have taught, grow to become confident practitioners, progressing into their own specialised careers, often moving forward onto learning the diploma!

Sarah Mannion Health & Wellness Coach

My mission is to empower women with endometriosis and pelvic pain to reclaim control of their own health. Supporting women to achieve health and wellness by working out what helps them truly thrive. I know what it is like to live with chronic pain and to be told that there is no ‘cure’. Feeling frustrated that your body is letting you down and holding you back from living the life you want. I had difficult periods from the start - irregular cycles and crippling cramps. My doctor put me on the pill when I was 15 to ‘manage’ my cycle and that is the mindset I had. For almost two decades, I saw my cycle as an inconvenience, something to be managed, and believed that the symptoms I experienced were just something I’d have to put up with - it was out of my control. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 20 while studying law at university. For the next 10 years, I used the pill, prescription and over-the-counter medications to manage my symptoms and had various laparoscopic surgeries. Over the years, I took pride in my ability to push through the pain I experienced and worked hard to achieve the goals I set myself personally and professionally. I had a successful law career and loved the busyness of life, working long hours and exercising hard. I was pretty stressed, but that was normal, right? I relied on the pill and pain medication to continue with the pace of life I’d set for myself. I didn’t understand that they were just masking my natural cycles and there were so many things I could do to help heal myself.

Beyond Coaching

Mandalas can be seen in all fundamental shapes such as in snails and trees, in atoms and the solar system and in the earth, moon and sun. Every mandala is related, yet distinctly unique. On a more symbolic level, the mandala is recognised in some way or another in almost every culture and religion. For us at Beyond Coaching, the mandala lies at the heart of the Self… It is the centre of our inter-connectedness with everyone and everything around us. It speaks to the eco-systems that we exist in in the companies we work in, the people we work with, lead and inspire. It also manifests in our personal circles, our friends, family and the communities we exist in. The mandala embodies a truly universal principle that is all embracing, regardless of the foundation of one’s belief. It symbolises the connections that exist between us and everything that surrounds us. More than anything it represents Wholeness and our African value of uBuntu. This is what drove us to form Beyond Coaching in 2009, when 21 like-minded coaches and trainers pulled together in the possibility of forming a coaching and training movement. One that is powered by Consciousness and committed to transforming the face of leadership and business. Bringing true collaboration, cohesion and mutual care back into the work place – for the sake of the people and of course for the sake of exponential business success. Rienzo Colpo was one of those founders he navigated the metamorphosis of that Beyond Coaching, to the lean and powerful force that it is today. Early in 2016 Mareli Kruger decided to move across from the University of Pretoria and join Beyond Coaching. This completed the foundation of senior coaches and master facilitators heading up the company.

West London Mindfulness Centre & Osteobreathe

London

Yes, I was just another stressed out west Londoner. Busy-ness and exhaustion was my badge of honour. I was infatuated with agitation. As a journalist, novelist and mother of three, I saw life as an uphill battle to be won. Littered with lists, relentless self-criticism and unfavourable comparison. Until I read Professor Mark Williams book about Mindfulness. Everything he explained was obvious, but had failed to see it without Mindfulness practice. I immediately gained a decisive, calm, spacious joy and so much extra time that dramatically changed the quality of my daily life. After meditating for many years, finally, I took the plunge and went to study at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, Oxford University. I went on to teacher training with the internationally-acclaimed Mindfulness teachers Martin Alyward and Mark Coleman at the Mindfulness Training Institute. I am a certified teacher with the Mindfulness Training Institute and accredited to International Mindfulness Teachers Association. Once you can bring yourself back to being present, conscious and aware of your moment by moment experience, you can so easily navigate the inevitable difficulties, ups and downs that is the stuff of all of our lives. You have no fear, no anxiety, because you have the ease of knowing you can meet all your experience without resorting to knee-jerk habits and reactions that inevitably hinder rather than help you. Once you see clearly what is going on in your daily life, you can respond wisely, simply and freely without the narratives and stories we tell ourselves and others to try and make sense of ourselves and our experience. I really hope that I will have the opportunity to share this simple, yet life changing practice with you.

Rosey was immediately invited to join Wigmore’s esteemed panel of trainers responsible for courses in Introductory and Advanced Dermal Fillers for Doctors, Dentists and Nurses. She continues to facilitate PDO Thread training courses at Wigmore. Rosey has presented and demonstrated her clinical skills at the Wigmore Medical Open Day 2017 to an audience of 175 medical delegates and Aesthetic Medicine North. Rosey was invited to join the elite Allergan Medical Faculty as a Nurse Trainer/ Ambassador in 2017 and has led Allergan’s 5 : 1 training programmes for the Introduction to Leaders and Visionary Codes throughout the UK. She believes learning should be an interactive, supportive process whereby both trainer and delegate gain from the experience. She recognises the importance of continually developing clinical skills with the safest techniques whilst emphasising the consultation and assessment process. Past delegates have greatly appreciated her corporate background in assisting them with the Consultation process within smaller clinics. This aspect of a client’s journey is often neglected in clinical training.

The Education Concierge

Our approach is to set up each child for future success. We do this by always putting your child at the centre and by keeping the short and longer term aspirations of your family in mind. The Education Concierge was founded by Gabrielle Villani BA (Hons), B ED (Distinction), MA Media (Distinction), MA Literacy Development, FCollT, whose skills and expertise in educational management and independent school education span pre-preparatory (early years), preparatory (primary) and secondary schooling in both the UK and abroad. Gabrielle founded The Education Concierge in 2013 and directed this prior to joining Salamanca Group as Head of Education Services for five years. During this time, she merged her education background with experience of private client services and worked alongside family offices and private client advisors to find the most appropriate and reputable schools, university courses and careers experiences for families. In her role as a school manager of a London independent school, Gabrielle experienced first-hand the need for parents to receive impartial, trusted advice and personal attention with their child’s education. With 20 years’ experience in nurturing the academic development of children aged 3 to 17 years, Gabrielle has expert knowledge of how children learn and how to cater to their educational needs. She understands that a child’s future is shaped by the quality of education he or she receives. Supporting families with educational choices and planning ‘next steps’ in a child’s education, are two essential skills that Gabrielle brings to helping families. Gabrielle understands that in a global economy, and in senior positions of business; families are often required to move in a moment’s notice. Making a transition to the right educational ‘home’ can be complex. With this in mind, she established The Education Concierge to ease the transition process and provide families with insights and solutions for enhancing their child’s education.

Sarah Malcolm

Hi, I’m Sarah A passionate and engaged yoga teacher, founder of “At Home with Sarah” & co-host of the podcast “Kitchen Club”. I accidentally fell in love with the yoga practice 10 years ago, whilst at University, as a way to land and ground myself daily into how I was feeling, letting myself very honestly check in. At age 24 I was diagnosed with PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome which massively transformed my lifestyle and began my journey into taking care of my body as a whole and living more mindfully. I now teach yoga online on my members platform, in London, & globally on retreats. I am constantly reminded by the beauty & connectivity of the yoga practice & the ability to build community no matter where you are. I also continue to play “student” to the yoga practice and am constantly learning myself. I am a 400 hour Yoga Alliance qualified yoga teacher specialising in Vinyasa flow, slow flow & meditation. Coming from a very ‘inflexible’ background, I absolutely adore the way yoga allows me to celebrate my body for what it is and not what’s expected of it. I teach a strong yet soft and playful vinyasa flow with an emphasis on the importance of moving with breath and intention. In all of my classes, I encourage my students to find a personal practice in each class and to strive towards moving in a way that feels good rather than looks good. My light hearted humor allows for a bright energy in the class and my classes are always welcome to all levels of yogi, from complete beginner to experienced. I welcome all levels of yogis to my classes, from beginner to advanced; everyone is welcome.
