Pass Move Grin was founded with one coach and one player and has grown to run different centres with some excellent coaches joining our staff. PMG is an award winning company that works with over 150 players per week. We currently run three sessions a week, working with players from 4-18years old, some of which have previously travelled from Leicester, Derby, and Lincoln due to our values, reputation, and quality training. PMG’s philosophy focuses on building better people first and foremost as this is the foundation of success, in life or sport. We use football as a method to teach life skills, such as the value of persistence, building resilience, communication skills, leadership skills and having a positive attitude. Our sessions are run for players to ‘Learn, Enjoy, Improve’, a motto of PMG that all coaches buy into. We at PMG have created a challenging but caring environment, where players are pushed to be better, more respectful, work hard as individuals and collectives, and are given the support network to ensure they achieve their own potential. Our coaches, some of which are the highest qualified in Nottingham, buy into our philosophy of developing people first and foremost, are all DBS certified, first aid trained and up to date with safeguarding procedures. PMG understand that to be a good footballer you must be respectful, disciplined, hard working with a positive mentality, as well as technically proficient, tactically aware, and socially good. We work across all these areas in a holistic manner. We consider football to be a journey, where parents, players and coaches must work together. Players that show the right attitude and determination are offered trials at professional and semi-professional clubs, representing team PMG who travel to opposition academies to play games. From here players can be scouted which can be the start of their academy journey, as it has been for over 54 PMG players so far. Further to this what makes PMG stand out is the quality we deliver when coaching. PMGs training is based around game understanding and intelligence, which help speed up development by putting the players in game realistic situations. We ensure that all players feel included in the sessions and differentiate objectives to ensure appropriate learning for all.

Where we started Need often finds a way to drive an idea, sometimes further than we all expect, and Bounce Back was just such an idea. In 2011 we started a small painting and decorating social enterprise, with the sole purpose of employing people who were coming out of prison. Recruitment was done through interviews in the prison and the first team of 5 people were commissioned to start off by re-building and decorating our offices. They did a very creative job despite the rather erratic grouting and a few hitches with the quality of electrical fitting and we were all delighted. When other people asked if they could use the decorators we would point out that the team had just left prison and clients would say ‘if its ok with you its ok with us’ and that was when we realised we could change perception by endorsing people, giving people trust and putting our belief in them. As the work grew, clients wanted decorating but also wanted to make a difference and we quickly realised that there was an opportunity to do more including training people to be ready for work. Anyone who starts a charity tends to believe in serendipity and the passion for what we choose to do enables us to circumnavigate barriers and overlook obstacles. ‘Outcomes’ were not something we’d ever heard of and simply delivering success for the guys leaving prison was all we wanted to achieve. Fate and amazing people along the way stepped in. HMP Wandsworth supported our recruitment, The London Probation Trust helped us, we were given guidance to set up training and then we were lucky enough to be given a building for a year in which to flourish. Finally, through the support of our decorating clients we were working all the time and thanks to some amazing organisations, the first of which was Axis, we started to grow. We always knew that through the power of skills training and a job, we could make a difference and see change in our participants. However, we also realised early on that change could only come with support for the individuals, which led to our case management team working with individuals for as long as they need it when they leave prison and are go into work.

Pinkspiration aims to inspire young people and transform communities. Our business was founded in July 2011 and offers skills based training to gain on site experience increasing knowledge to progress into industry, regenerating some of the 380,000 empty spaces and empty shops across the United Kingdom. Our business offers industry placements, mentoring, advice and guidance. Up skilling the next generation of young people to help close the increasing skills gap. Our team offers a number of opportunities through industry placements on our TV programme Transforming Spaces‘ Design Factor’ featured on BBC. Since launch 8,500 young people directly up skilled of which 70% have progressed onto training, employment or Starting Up. Our construction sites are 50/50 gender split and our teams have re-generated 16 empty spaces, empty homes, heritage buildings and worked on Wales largest road scheme a £400 million programme. REAL ISSUES * Nearly 1 million young people unemployed * Over 380,000 empty spaces & empty shops in the UK * 
Over 220 million tons of waste generated for Landfill * Only 3% of women in manual trades, 5% in engineering and only 2% of female owned businesses in Wales Transforming Spaces: Design Factor Our construction projects transforms empty and unused spaces through working with the community on the planning, design and build. Working with build experts and volunteers from the community it acts like DIY SOS/60 minute makeover. The aim is to up skill young people and members of the community to gain on site experience. If you have an empty space or empty building our team will work with you on the planning, design and rebuild of the space to turn it into a thriving community provision. Training on the site includes: planning, construction, managing budgets, Marketing, enterprise, business and managing the whole project. Our team and the experts will work on site for around one week to re-build the space and encourage volunteers to become involved and progress into training, employment or Starting Up. Helping people to gain vital industry experience to progress their career. The whole process is filmed and broadcast. Our build projects have included Wales First Garden City Café, The Hope Centre-Newport, Blaenau Gwent Community Hub-Waundeg, Empty Shops Project-Cardiff & Newport, State of the Art Cinema Room using Recycled Pallets- Cwmbran Centre for Young People, Penygraig Empty Shop, Newport Heritage Building. The spirit of the Centre’s aims has remained unchanged for over 100 years: Swarthmore seeks to inspire lives through friendly learning within a commitment to equality of opportunity Swarthmore is a centre for lifelong learning, community projects and family learning sessions as well as the courses and activities. Our main aim is to encourage people who want to learn but might not feel comfortable in more formal educational institutions. We work on a friendly, human scale. Many volunteers currently support the Centre’s work, and we welcome their contributions of time and energy. The Centre was founded by members of the Quaker movement in 1909 with the aim of including and involving people in learning activities and making sure that people were treated with equality and respect. Two members of the Society of Friends remain on our democratically elected ‘Council’ of Trustees, made up of Centre members and representatives of community organisations with shared aims. Swarthmore is a not-for-profit registered charity, and a company limited by guarantee. Our Grade II Listed Building has a fascinating history and is made up of six four-story terraced houses with additional dance and art studios to the rear. We have specialist facilities for pottery, jewellery, stained glass and sculpture, and the atmosphere is intentionally homely and informal. We also work within the local community on negotiated projects, including arts and ‘Skills for Life’ programmes. Many groups and individuals make use of the Centre as a community resource, providing facilities for a wide variety of local groups. Swarthmore attracts a social mix of people who come to the Centre because of their shared interests in learning rather than their background. We offer room hire at competitive rates, and welcome the public to use our café facilities. The Chat Shop story started in 2011. That may not seem like an especially long time ago, but trust us, ten years is a very long time in live chat history. Before we were incorporated, hardly any businesses used live chat, and fewer still seemed to recognise its revenue-generating potential. The more we looked into why this was, we saw that few people really understood the value that chat could bring to their business, and chat was a real challenge to get right. 2011 Small beginnings The Chat Shop was founded by two people who knew they could provide a solution. They sensed that live chat might represent an unexplored opportunity to reach out and connect with customers. Could smart onsite conversation be the key to engaging wavering visitors and converting them into qualified leads? 2012 Officially incorporated By June 2012, The Chat Shop was officially incorporated. The Chat Shop began life with a £5K investment and a strong belief in the untapped potential of conversational marketing, before conversational marketing was really a thing. Despite our shoestring funding, we won our first client at the end of 2012 and worked 18-hour days (on chat!) until we could afford to hire a client team. 2013 We hired our first team After more clients joined, we were relieved to be in a position to hire a team. The founders’ experience of being on chat helped identify exactly the team we needed. They had to be native-English speaking and natural at engaging with prospective customers through chat. 2016 Our focus on innovation grew The chat technology we were using had always been good, but we knew that in order for us to truly take conversation up a level we needed a team of developers. This kicked off our long-standing history of enhancing our clients, customers, and agents' experience with market-leading technology. 2017 The Chat Shop Inc was born Due to increasing demand for our solutions from North America, we officially incorporated our US business, The Chat Shop Inc. This enabled us to grow our US team and client base, building our strong presence on both sides of the pond. 2018 First acquisition The Chat Shop had partnered with Jeff Wilson and the team over at Ortho Engagement a few years prior, successfully delivering chat for over 100 Orthodontists in America, Canada, and Australia. When the opportunity arose, it made sense for The Chat Shop to take over ownership of the business as our very first acquisition. 2020 The big plan We took a step back and really thought about what had driven our, and our clients' success to date. This led to a whole new approach to our solutions - still very much human-led, and tech-enabled, with further investment into our strategy, people, and technology. 2021 ... and beyond Ten years and millions of chats later, our youthful instincts have been vindicated. Conversational marketing and onsite chat are now well-established as brilliantly effective ways to drive customer engagement and boost conversion rates.
