My mission is to empower women with endometriosis and pelvic pain to reclaim control of their own health. Supporting women to achieve health and wellness by working out what helps them truly thrive. I know what it is like to live with chronic pain and to be told that there is no ‘cure’. Feeling frustrated that your body is letting you down and holding you back from living the life you want. I had difficult periods from the start - irregular cycles and crippling cramps. My doctor put me on the pill when I was 15 to ‘manage’ my cycle and that is the mindset I had. For almost two decades, I saw my cycle as an inconvenience, something to be managed, and believed that the symptoms I experienced were just something I’d have to put up with - it was out of my control. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 20 while studying law at university. For the next 10 years, I used the pill, prescription and over-the-counter medications to manage my symptoms and had various laparoscopic surgeries. Over the years, I took pride in my ability to push through the pain I experienced and worked hard to achieve the goals I set myself personally and professionally. I had a successful law career and loved the busyness of life, working long hours and exercising hard. I was pretty stressed, but that was normal, right? I relied on the pill and pain medication to continue with the pace of life I’d set for myself. I didn’t understand that they were just masking my natural cycles and there were so many things I could do to help heal myself.

GeeLearn’s Social Mission GeeLearn’s social mission is centered around the delivery of science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM), and in particular science education, to children in developing OECD countries. Leveraging our strengths as an innovator in online learning design, development, delivering, and funding, we volunteer our skills and energy and partner with organizations to deliver STEAM education to children in these developing nations, starting with Colombia. In 2020, after an intense 5-year review, Colombia was welcomed as the newest OECD member. In 2021, GeeLearn Ltd. Partnered with the Children’s University at the University of EAFIT (Universidad de Los Ninos de Universidad Escuela de Administración, Finanzas Instituto Tecnológico) in order to volunteer its skills, knowledge, and talents to expanding the reach of Children’s University via digital learning throughout not only Colombia but the whole of Latin America. Background of GeeLearn Ltd. and its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative: Online Science Education for Children: Colombia to Latin America 2020 – 2023 GeeLearn Ltd. is a social enterprise headquartered in The Melting Pot, “Scotland’s Leading Centre for Innovation”. This volunteer effort for EAFIT Universidad de Los Ninos on behalf of GeeLearn Ltd. represents a social good and comprises a major part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative over a period of three years. The CSR initiative was approved by the company’s board of directors in the Autumn of 2020. The goal of the company was to engage with an educational initiative to help serve children in a developing country that is a member of the OECD. Colombia became an official member of the OECD in 2020, the 37thcountry to do so in the organization’s 60-year history. The directors of GeeLearn Ltd. have identified 6 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that its volunteer cooperation with EAFIT’s Universidad de Los Ninos touches upon and will help Colombia achieve. It seems almost unbelievable what a huge development F AIR has undergone during its existence. The original intention to found a company for the pleasure of flying has grown into one of the largest aviation schools in Central and Eastern Europe. We are extremely proud of the fact that we became the first private flight school in the Czech Republic in the early nineties, and that we defended our primacy in 2000, when we were the first to meet the requirements of the European Joint Aviation Regulations JAR-FCL 1 (Joint Aviation Rules) and thus became the international school CZ/FTO-001. Today, we can teach flying to a person of mature age who just wants to experience and feel the beauty of the third dimension, as well as a young boy or girl who wants to fulfill their dream and become a pilot of a commercial plane. Our school has the most modern technology and methodology it uses to train pilots, a corps of experienced instructors and a background that provides excellent conditions not only for students in training, but also for pilots who come to rent planes from us. In addition to the aviation school, our main services include aircraft sales and service, aircraft rental, aviation work, events for companies, aviation advertising and adventure flights. Even in these areas, we try to do everything to make our customers feel at home.
