The Body Happy Organisation is a social enterprise dedicated to promoting positive body image in children and young people. Through student workshops in schools, staff training CPD workshops, learning resources and peer support, we help schools - and all organisations that work with children and young people - create environments that nurture the body esteem of the kids in their care. We're the only body image education organisation in the UK made up of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including educators, doctors, counsellors, nutritionists, dietitians, media professionals, health psychologists, body image researchers and weight inclusive fitness trainers. We have a rigorous impact measurement process and a high level of in-house accountability with a Board of Directors that includes a GP, a teacher, a project manager and our founder - author, campaigner and journalist Molly Forbes. Our focus is on prevention and culture change, and we are currently working with The University of Lincoln to delve into the science behind our approach and framework. Our framework consists of: * CPD staff training workshops * Student Sessions workshops for children and young people * Learning resources * Peer support * Books and bespoke designed physical resources, including our signature affirmation activity card deck, stickers and posters We also have an Online Masterclass for parents, and run quarterly interactive webinars for parents and caregivers. We can run in-person workshops in most parts of the UK. All of our facilitators are trained to deliver our programme and are highly experienced in running training and workshops with both staff and children and young people, and have specialist professional expertise and qualifications in body image / body image adjacent disciplines. We have worked with many schools - in both the UK, Europe, US and Middle East. We have also worked with councils, eating disorder services, charities and sports organisations. Cardiff Storyteller and Singer Cath Little has “rough magic” in her voice, and in her words “the gift of the story comes through.” She has a strong belief in the power of stories to connect us to one another, to the land, and to the people who once lived here. She tells traditional stories from her Irish English heritage and her Welsh homeland. Cath enjoys re-imagining and retelling stories from The Mabinogion. Cath helps run the Cardiff Storytelling Circle and curates their seasonal concerts, Tales for the Turning Year. She tells and listens to stories at Oasis, a Cardiff Charity which offers a warm Welsh welcome to refugees and asylum seekers. Cath keeps busy sharing stories in schools, libraries, museums, castles, cafes and fields. She has performed at festivals across Britain and Ireland and is the author of Glamorgan Folk Tales for Children. My father told me stories and my mother read me them. The family was, and is, full of wonderful storytellers. When I started teaching English in London Secondary Schools it came naturally to me to tell stories: I told stories to help the children into poetry, into Shakespeare, into their own creative imaginations. When I taught English in Italy and in Egypt I found that stories take away the stress of learning another language and give a real reason for listening. When I became a Steiner Waldorf Early Years Teacher I learnt more about the power of stories to nurture and to heal. And then one day I met a professional storyteller! Then I knew that’s what I had to be. Since then I’ve been on the path, following my bliss, and have worked as a professional storyteller since 2006.

It is with great sadness that Ipswich Mosque has learned of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our deepest condolences to Her Majesty’s children and their families on this sad occasion. Her Majesty was a great example of devotion to civic duty and public life. She is not only the longest reigning monarch in British history she has also been the background to the lives of most of us alive today. She was the monarch who earned the widest possible respect here in the UK and throughout the world. Her Majesty always put duty first and brought dignity and decency to the highest office in the land. She embodied the best of qualities and was a focus for national unity and identity. Her Majesty has been the still calm centre of stability and reassurance to this nation and the other nations of which has been head of state for more than seventy years. While so much around her has changed she has been a distillation of our national identity, she has been a constant in an ever shifting world, steadfast, dependable dutiful. Her Majesty’s life was one of finely judged service true to the principles of constitutional monarchy driven by duty. Her Majesty’s life has been a huge inspiration and she will be sadly missed by all. Her Majesty’s passing is great loss to the nation. She was a remarkable human being who leaves a remarkable legacy to our country and beyond.

CTVC is a multi-BAFTA-winning and Grierson nominated independent production company producing content that raises important ethical and moral issues, from the perspective of all faiths and none. Broadcasting across all networks, both in the UK and internationally, our television, radio, education and online platforms aim is to get people thinking and talking. Established in 1978 by Lord and Lady Rank, CTVC is a registered charity which receives a grant from the Rank Foundation; a grant-giving charitable trust whose mission is to improve the lives of young and disadvantaged people and their communities, across the UK. The company ethos was sparked in the 1930s when, as a Sunday school teacher, J. Arthur Rank became frustrated by the limited teaching materials for children and decided to take matters into his own hands (a legacy we continue today through our subsidiary, TrueTube). He established the ‘Religious Film Society’ to produce films for schools and churches. From there the slate and variance of projects grew, and Lord Rank went on to purchase the Odeon Cinema chain and Elstree Studios, as well as set up the legendary Pinewood Film Studios. The Centre for Television and Communication, as it became known, saw the thriving operation move to newly built studios in a converted country house named ‘Hillside’. Based in Bushey, North London, an early production, Will the Real Jesus Christ Please Stand Up? featured a fresh faced, young Hugh Grant. In 2005 we changed our name to CTVC Ltd and although we have progressed with the rapidly changing media landscape, the principles laid out by Lord Rank’s vision are still at the heart of everything we do. In 2020, after an intense 5-year review, Colombia was welcomed as the newest OECD member. In 2021, GeeLearn Ltd. Partnered with the Children’s University at the University of EAFIT (Universidad de Los Ninos de Universidad Escuela de Administración, Finanzas Instituto Tecnológico) in order to volunteer its skills, knowledge, and talents to expanding the reach of Children’s University via digital learning throughout not only Colombia but the whole of Latin America. Background of GeeLearn Ltd. and its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative: Online Science Education for Children: Colombia to Latin America 2020 – 2023 GeeLearn Ltd. is a social enterprise headquartered in The Melting Pot, “Scotland’s Leading Centre for Innovation”.
