We at Tiny Tekkers firmly believe in developing the new generation of sports people by giving everybody the chance to have a positive relationship with sports and an active lifestyle. With the heightened importance that sport and physical activity has on a child's development at the forefront of the companies visions, we have created fun based programmes to aid in the development of fine and gross motor skills. Our goal is to provide high quality sports coaching to as many children in Sussex as possible. We provide a variety of classes and clubs for all children to be able to have access to elite coaching enabling them to positively participate in a range of sports. These sessions are all easily accessible and we do not discriminate on ability or experience level. For our youngest age groups, physical development is crucial for the ability to explore and interact with the world around them. We use disguised learning techniques based around fun games to ensure your children leave every week with a smile on their face. Your child's growth will be accelerated through our weekly sessions which will improve their overall well being and give them a head start in school. We as a company provide sports coaching to a wide variety of audiences across Sussex. Our classes cater for children of all ages with the youngest sessions available to children aged 18 months.

Mojo Training was an education and training company established in 2002 to deliver fitness qualifications and training to new instructors wanting a career in the fitness industry. We designed, wrote and taught our own courses as well as delivering nationally recognised qualifications all over the country. Over 18 years, we wrote articles, training manuals and student support material for Central YMCA, Premier Training International, Active IQ and Fitness Industry Education (now Trainfit). We also piloted several qualifications each time they were launched by Active IQ. We were specialists in the field of exercise for children. In 2012 not only was Mojo Training a successful education provider, Dawn; its Director decided to qualify in Pilates and in 2020 set up Mojo Pilates Studio in Cambridgehsire in order to go back to her roots of teaching the general public. In 2021 we decided to step away from the education part of the fitness industry and pour all of our efforts into teaching group exercise the way it should be done……studios dedicated to just group exercise and all that has to offer. There’s no gym at our club, just great group exercise, members bond over the love of classes and we love to offer expert instructors who educate in fitness and not just instruct. The Mojo Team have backgrounds in fitness, athletic coaching, martial arts, college lecturing, childcare, physiotherapy, marketing, mentoring and leisure centre management.

Stone Farm Study Centre is located on the edge of Dartmoor in the heart of the Devon countryside. Set in the foothills of the National Park, the site boasts 110 acres of organic park-land pasture and is an idyllic retreat for children to visit. Among 17th century listed buildings we have a traditional working farm where every morning and evening visiting groups can help with supervised farm jobs - complete with pigs, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, a donkey, a pony, 'Hedwig' the African eagle owl and resident sheepdog Baloo there really is something for everyone! Stone Farm also has its own onsite lake where, if lucky, the children will be able to spot local birdlife including ducks, geese, moorhen and kingfishers. When taking a nature walk in the adjoining woodland we often see deer, foxes and badgers. First established in 1992 by two former teachers, Stone Farm Study Centre has welcomed schools for 30 years and we understand the educational, physical and emotional benefits school visits offer. We have attempted to create a Study Centre which we would want to visit ourselves and an environment in which every child can flourish and grow. We work closely with every school to ensure our on-site activities, and the excursions you choose in the local area, incorporate and complement the curriculum of each year group. Set up specifically and exclusively for primary schools, we welcome KS2 groups from across the country for 3 or 4 night visits.

Resources and training make learning visual and deep, helping children to build understanding through a range of purposefully sequenced learning experiences. The I See Maths resources provide a range of opportunities for children to deepen their understanding, applying their skills flexibly in a range of contexts. I See Maths allows teachers to put problem-solving at the heart of the mathematics curriculum. Training shows how children can learn to understand the deep structure of different problem-solving tasks and how children can make connections between different problem-solving experiences. Using the I See Maths resources, teachers can immerse children in a wide range of exciting, thought-provoking challenges. NCETM-accredited training events, led by Gareth Metcalfe, give teachers the knowledge, skills and resources to deepen and personalise the mathematics curriculum. Training focuses on showing concepts visually, breaking learning down into small, purposefully sequenced steps and providing children with extended, challenging learning experiences. Gareth has been teaching since 2004 and is a former Assistant Headteacher. Currently he is working in a range of schools, teaching classes from Nursery-Y6, helping schools to put reasoning and problem-solving at the heart of learning. I See Maths enables children to be intellectually and emotionally engaged by mathematics. We hope that I See Maths helps you to build an effective, inspiring maths curriculum.

From not attending school, to not being able to leave the house: all result in a situation where children feel they cannot cope and function. They are overwhelmed and ,despite help and support, feel that they cannot move forwards. School, college and a career becomes a distant, impossible dream for both parent and child, and the focus of each day is to just 'get through it'. For a parent it's devastating to watch your child, who should be smiling, under the bedcovers shaking. This is reality. If you are reading this and it resonates, we can help. Fast Progress Tuition (FPT) is a specialist unregistered Alternative Provision for children who suffer from Emotionally-Based School Absence (EBSA). We build confidence, self-esteem and resilience in a controlled educational setting meaning that secondary complications of EBSA are prevented: education is not compromised and our students are able to take huge steps forward in both social and academic environments. Every child who attends FPT has a different academic pathway and social goals, all of which are developed in parallel with each other, resulting in a child who is active, confident and feels like they can achieve in different environments. FPT are on the Alternative Provision Directory for both Essex County Council and Southend Council.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the Pre-school. We are open Monday - Friday Morning session 9.15am - 12.15pm Lunch club 12.15pm - 12.45pm Afternoon session 12.45pm - 3.45pm 38 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days. Ladywell Pre-school proudly presents our Nature Reserve / Forest Cafe At LADYWELL PRE-SCHOOL WE WORK OFF OF CREATIVE POSITIVE ENERGY! During the pandemic when indoor trips were a big NO NO we decided to make our own trip facilities onsite, by re vamping our corridor that housed bags and coats into our own Nature reserve and Forest Cafe. Remembrance Day On Armistice Day we decided to focus on one person from WW2. Ena Collymore-Woodstock OBE is believed to be the oldest surviving female veteran of the British Army at 103. We had many discussions with the children about Ena and the meaning behind the poppy. It was fantastic to hear the children could recall the information.
