Welcome to our website Our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre is based on Princes Dock, Liverpool L3, with our own private training facility right in the docks itself We run courses from beginner sessions all the way up to professional level courses and also sessions for the kids too! As an active dive club we are out diving 7 days a week, which means your course can be completely tailored to your availability with small groups or 121 sessions. Not only do we have our own private training facility in Princes Dock itself, we also have our own on site shop, classroom and top class facilities, and our weekly pool night on a Wednesday! Please note - we are open 7 days a week but we spend a lot of time off site and in the water so if you would like to pop down for a chat please drop us a message to discuss! Meet The Team

Comfort Aquatics was founded in April 2017 and opened with 11 children at our Kenilworth Road location, we have grown each and every term. We offer group lessons with a maximum of 4 swimmers in each class along with private lessons for 1 or 2 swimmers. We also offer parent and baby classes along with preschool classes with no parent in the water. The learn to swim program our award criteria is taken from is The Swim Teachers Association, (STA)

Our mission is to be the leader in lifesaving and lifeguarding in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Sharing, our expertise and knowledge with as many people as possible, giving everyone the potential to save lives and enjoy water, safely. Here, at the RLSS UK, we have an impressive heritage. We have built up years of experience and, we are honoured, to boast a strong force of loyal members and volunteers who work with us to promote water safety and educate in life saving skills. Our roots were established back in 1891 as the Life Saving Society, and, in the early 1900s, with support from the Royal Family, we were granted permission to adopt the ‘Royal’ to our title – a badge that we are still immensely proud of today. We have used our extensive, world-leading knowledge of water safety and training to develop a comprehensive range of vocational qualifications and a series of awards and education programmes which all have the ultimate aim of preventing drowning and stopping unnecessary loss of life. Our portfolio includes the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) - the premier lifeguard training programme.

The Aquababies teacher roles are to offer an education to the parents. ABOUT OUR BABY SWIMMING PROGRAM At Aquababies we prefer to offer an education for a holistic approach to water activities. Our baby swimming lessons develop strength, stamina and agility. Through correct training, babies can learn to respect and love the water, happily swimming above and under the surface. All babies are born with the natural ability to hold their breath underwater. This is known as the “mammalian diving response”. This natural reflex is not something we rely on. We would prefer to teach the children to hold their breath in a relaxed manner. This forms part of the baby swimming class structure in order to help your child gain confidence in the water. Our parent and baby swimming classes are designed to educate not only the child but the parent too. We understand the importance of teaching parents why children relate to certain exercises due to their reflexes and we help to manage their expectations. The main factor is to have fun whist learning essential life skills! Recent statistics show that nearly 500 babies drown each year, often in very shallow water. The ultimate goal of Aquababies is to teach swimming so that babies will be water-safe. This means that an Aquababies child will learn to find the safety of the poolside unaided. We recognise that swimming has so many health benefits for both parent & child - physically, emotionally and socially. In simple terms it helps them to sleep better and eat better!

Since Christopher drowned I/RASS have educated over 500.000 young people and adults across North Wales UK and Ireland as to the dangers of open water. From the beginning I wanted to create a Legacy which would leave a memorable impact on both young people and adults in making them more aware of their own and others safety. The strain on our emergency services over the years and ongoing research has proved that CPR First Aid and SABL Education particularly in Wales was not on our curriculum and therefore in 2021 RASS in Partnership with Ajuda Training will provide this extra service across Wales. This would help in many ways to reduce incidents where people were rescued and aid in the saving of lives using the education taught on a peer to peer basis. RASS works with all the emergency services across the UK and is proud to be involved in the – All Wales Drowning Prevention Strategy of which members are RLSS RNLI ROSPA CFOA MPA to name but a few. Awards RASS has received recognition from Emergency Services across the UK and beyond. Awards such as Free To Network Resilience In Business – Finalist Pride of Britain – Special Achievement Award National Lottery Awards – presented By Bear Grylls – WCVA Award – Liverpool Lifestyle Award – Special Achievement The project is needed as there is not enough Water Safety and Lifesaving Education. Young people take risks, drink alcohol, and put their lives and others in danger. There are a number of ‘Hot Spots’ in the local area and across North Wales where young people visit on a regular basis to have fun and which often are having to be chased away or rescued by our emergency services.
