Masters in Minds is a leading sustainable transformation, change and innovation partner. We facilitate inspiring strategies for high performance through enlightening mindsets, transforming behaviours, increasing capability, delivering results, and making your business a place people can thrive in. When we thrive, business thrives, society thrives.I left school just before my 16th birthday. I got a job with the largest employer in the area – everyone did. I worked for 5 years without ambition – I didn’t know anything else was possible for me. Then a new manager took over the large department I worked in and my life started to change. He had one of those ‘real and honest’ conversations with me and after that the light he shone on me was greater than the light I was shining on myself. He gave me 2 options. Simply put, shape up and I will help you build a career or ship out because I am going to build something great here. I chose the former and my life changed forever. He kept his word and has been my managerial role model ever since. Thanks Dave Brown (ACCESS, circa 1983). I was promoted to my first managerial position and onto a training role. I was sent on a course which transformed my life and I attended a fast track programme to become a managing director. I was fortunate to work for an organisation committed to personal development which facilitated my enrolment in a Masters degree in Change Strategy & Facilitation Skills. Having left school with no more than 4 O Levels that was quite an achievement.

Freestyle Flooring Sustainability & SelecTech Here at SelecTech, we believe we have the power to make a change in the world of construction. And starting out as a recycling organization gives us a bit of an edge. We figured out how to make a desirable product – high quality, easy to install flooring – out of a material that can’t always be reused. By using recycled material and a less harmful method of installation, our flooring systems can save the planet, as well as your time and money. In a world of heavy consumerism, sometimes it can be hard to take a step back and really evaluate the effects your purchases have on the environment. But with SelecTech, you don’t have to worry. Our line of flooring is made with material that’s already here, so we don’t have to worry as much about the impact of production. Additionally, their durability means you won’t have to purchase new flooring, further decreasing their carbon footprint. LEED Qualifications What does it mean to be “LEED”? You’ve probably seen plaques boasting this outside of newer buildings. LEED – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – is a set of guidelines established by the US Green Business Green Business Council to encourage greener practices in construction. Organizations can earn LEED “points” by performing various tasks in different areas, including Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and LEED Innovation. By installing SelecTech flooring, you’ll earn points in the Materials & Resources category, with potential for Innovation in the future. Crossover Basketball Association

crossover basketball association

Solihull

Regd. Charity No. 1190741 xoball exists to promote amateur basketball as a means to meeting the needs of individuals, enhancing their lives using education and physical training to consequently improve the communities that they live in. It was seen that basketball could do this for a number of reasons; these are illustrated in an All Party Parliamentary Group report into basketball in 2014, which states that “…there is no more efficient sporting vehicle than basketball to improve outcomes for individuals and communities…”. (link) xoball realises that building competitive basketball teams, and consequently trying to win games, is something that will encourage some of the new joiners to remain in the sport, and provide part of the base on which we grow the game, wherever we operate. However, xoball recognises that today’s society is increasingly complex. People’s liberties and development can be compromised by anxiety, isolation or the sheer amount of choices available to them. These can often be exacerbated by pressures such as social media, or the time and financial limitations on those who traditionally provided guidance. Coordinated, sustainable group activities are an effective tool to help individuals to cope with the demands of modern life. Therefore: continued participation will always take priority over winning matches. xoball takes pride in it’s values. The association will remain: transparent – make details of our activities available to our members, wherever it is not unreasonable to do so; dynamic – change our processes and structure if it will proportionately benefit the purposes of the association; outward looking – be highly hospitable to all those involved in the sport, and further our objectives by actively developing opportunities that become apparent, wherever and whenever that may be.

Wild Atlantic Travel Co

Londonderry

My passion for travel started when I was 17, leaving home and going to the Irish traditional city of Galway on the beautiful west coast of Ireland to live and work. This journey has continued and never wavers to the current day. I’m always looking for the next adventure and to “step outside my comfort zone” I have taught English and lived in San Francisco, Sydney, Melbourne, Hungary, Spain and traveled extensively all over Asia and the Pacific. pexels-photo-1560932 Educational Tourism I currently work in Educational tourism and I’m the European Project Manager for Foyle International Ltd. I oversee Erasmus work-based internships from all over Europe. I also write large funding applications to give local people the opportunity to experience different cultures, learn new working ethics and enhance their employability skills. Through this experience, I’ve noticed that personal growth is as important as professional development and that travel and tourism can increase drive, motivation and learning. pexels-photo-1015568 Educational Background My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Business Management with Spanish. I sit on the UK board for ECVET (European Accreditation for Vocational Education and Training) and travel to different European destinations to discuss and devise methodologies to further enhance and improve Erasmus procedures and programmes. Ethos I believe that travel and experiential learning are paramount to one’s development. This includes tourism that focuses on history, culture, heritage, outdoor and therapeutic activities. Wild Atlantic learning recognises the value of travel but recognises our responsibility to implement provisions that are sustainable, Eco and combat our carbon footprint. “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”

Click to see what others have said about us About the founder Mark Quirk - Reach Remarkable Reach Remarkable was founded by Mark Quirk, simply, to make a difference. “I have more than 20+ years of first-hand experience in individual and management corporate roles, but after several years of positively manipulating those roles so that I could train, coach and support others, I decided that the world of computer software, which had supported me for 20+ years was going to become an ex-career, making space to go back to school for a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology, training in nutrition, and health coaching, and a whole new career working with people to help grow resilience, wellbeing and performance.” Today, in businesses, schools, athletics and charities, he brings the years of research behind resilience, models of wellbeing, peak performance, brain science, mindsets, longevity, mindfulness and strengths into reality.
