The founder of Universal Truth, Nyla Khan, was forced to marry and subsequently desensitised from her own feelings for over 15 years. Her story is more than the typical narrative of being taken to Pakistan and forced into a marriage - she is a woman who cannot be put into a box no matter how hard family members and communities may try, about being disowned by her family and suffering abuse and community coercion from her own community. She has conquered every block that has been put in her way and now feels that her purpose in life is to demonstrate that all women can follow the same path. Nyla’s spiritual awakening has healed herself and presented her life’s purpose which is to gain the correct knowledge and experience to share her story and start Universal Truth so to be a role model that most ethnic minority women don’t have or can use more of – a successful and independent woman who surpassed tradition and limitations that were placed on her by archaic cultural conditions which resulted in community isolation tactics and silence in the name of honour. Nyla went from feeling like a failed unworthy daughter to the knowledge that she is just a soul who was made in the light of God. There is no box in which she belongs, she is a soul that was born to be free learning hard lessons. With so much fear instilled in victims, Nyla and Universal Truth bring a unique spiritual approach to these women. Through Universal Truth, Nyla seeks to break a cycle, to lead, to teach and heal others through her wisdom - as through her journey, she now lives a life of self-expression and truth - a birth right which belongs to all of us. Bringing Universal Truth to life is a path to support and inspire not only all the women of colour who are wanting to defy all odds but need strength and inspiration to do so, but also to inspire women from any background who have suffered similar trauma to give them hope and the courage to be loud and speak their truths. We understand that society’s structures and systems must embrace change in order for change to be effective and sustainable. That is why Universal Truth's focus is strongly dedicated to leading policy changes so that ethnic minorities are systemically supported and protected.

It is a school with an excellent academic reputation; we have consistently been the highest performing school in the county for many years in a range of important measures and one of the best schools in the country. There is plenty of parking available at Kanga Studio within the compound and on the grass outside the gate. Kanga Studio provides yoga mats and props. You are also welcome to bring your own with you. There is a bathroom and toilet on site, and storage available for your belongings during your session. We welcome you to relax at the studio after your session with us. Our story starts in the classroom, but unlike most CPR training companies, it doesn't end there. Our co-founder, Roy Shaw, was a classroom CPR instructor for many years before our company was born in 2003. Roy knew what he was doing was ambitious, so rather than do it on his own, he partnered with Paul Martin and Scott Andersen to help in the early years. Our new team now included a paramedic / CPR instructor, a web developer / marketer, and a graphic designer / video editor. You wouldn't be alone if CPR training makes you think of classrooms and manikins rather than a computer. And in 2003, this was even more true than today. But that didn't stop us from deciding to change everything. After all, CPR training was broken and we were determined to fix it. No more falling asleep in a 4-6 hour class. Why not learn from the comfort of your home. GROWING PAINS AND EARLY WINS Of course, there have been challenges. Nearly a third of Internet users were on dial-up in 2003 and YouTube hadn't been invented yet. But by 2007, things were beginning to change. And that's the year we launched the Internet's first fully video-based CPR course. At this point, we had certified around 80,000 students, our three founders went full-time on the business, and we hired our first two employees to support our customers and gain compliance approvals. Compliance challenges are what led us to create a blended CPR program in 2008. Although online courses are acceptable for many people, there are certain industries where hands-on skills practice is mandatory. First, we built a national instructor network to meet this need. Then, in 2014, we introduced live video conference evaluations and a low-cost SUMO manikin kit to offer our students in-home skills evaluations, making ProTrainings the most compliant (and convenient) CPR course available online. EXPANSION AND NEW VENTURES A lot has changed since the early days. Our team has grown to 35+ people across our U.S. and U.K. offices. We've certified well over a million people and counting. And our free Student CPR program has certified tens of thousands of high school students around the country. Our course catalog has also expanded beyond CPR to include courses such as Bloodborne Pathogens, HIPAA, Hazcom, Fire Safety, Ergonomics, Sexual Harassment, Pet First Aid, Continuing Education content, and more to come. We're still just getting started!

Wing Training delivers unique and bespoke course interventions for; Adult customers furthest from the workplace, adult clients with clear, identified and entrenched barriers, adult clients with a range of profound mental health and wellbeing issues, adult clients requiring support, both moving into, and in work. Wing Training adopts a highly specialised delivery approach utilising professional actor-teachers and 'Forum Theatre' techniques. It's mission is to ENABLE and INSPIRE client groups by facilitating a process of high level self-assessment and self-realisation, allowing those with a range of issues, barriers and health conditions move out of crisis and into meaningful recovery and progression. Alongside, Wing Training uses the highly acclaimed WEMWBS tool to measure improvement in mental health and improvement, and currently we can prove an average 16% increase per participant per programme. Since 2011, Wing Training has assisted over 6000 clients with wellbeing issues move successfully forward - partners including; People Plus, Ingeus, The Shaw Trust. Maximus, Acorn Training and two large FE colleges. Clients have regularly included; homeless people, ex-offenders, lone parents and those recovering from a variety of crisese. Of these, over 70 percent have moved into relevant and meaningful progression, and we can boast a 90 percent client improvement rate in a wide range of mental health related outcomes – notably; confidence, self-esteem, emotional well-being, social skills/interaction, motivation, focus, and positivity - proving levels of profound recovery. Similarly, when delivering the same resource to, specifically, harder to reach unemployed clients, we have assisted, globally, over 27 percent - of 3000 referrals - move into paid, full time work and 70 percent into other progressions (ie further training). Nearly all of these have been ‘Work and Health programme’ participants. Since April 2020, Wing Training has delivered completely digitally, but our business ambition is to move back to 'face to face' as soon as is possible to assist vulnerable clients struggling post-Covid. Funding allowing, all of our courses can be accredited to Level One and our learners achieve, either an Award, a Certificate or a Diploma in Personal and Social Development, with specialised IAG and Digital skills embedded. Wing Training is now operating all training on-line. It covers the practical aspects of diagnosis, investigation and management and is authored . All contributors are GMC-registered doctors who have passed MRCP or MRCS. Their contribution is entirely voluntary and no profit is made by OME or its contributors. Although aimed at doctors and medical students in developed countries, the content is widely used in the developing world and we are forging links with international organisations to encourage greater access to OME. An introduction from our Chief Executive Robert Candy… I started the Scaffolding Association in 2011 with the intention of creating an open and inclusive organisation that would provide unbiased support to businesses operating in the scaffolding and access sector. Since then we have made considerable progress with our strategic campaign to raise safety standards, strengthen skills training, improve the levels of scaffolding competence and extend our independent audit process to protect product and service quality. Our membership growth demonstrates that we’re creating a business framework that allows scaffolding contractors of all sizes to deliver professional services while improving the safety, and competitive nature, of the whole industry. Robert Candy The new Audited Membership category has been developed in line with PAS91 specifically to demonstrate that scaffolding contractors operate to the highest standards. It offers an independent third party audit, against a scaffolding-specific procurement standard. This move has been welcomed by house builders, local authorities and major contractors who now see the benefit of our members on their tender lists and construction sites. The health and well-being of the workforce is our number one priority. Our vision is one of workplaces that are incident- and injury-free, where everyone returns home safely. The Association continues work with designers, clients and other stakeholders to achieve this. The Association also meets regularly with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) to learn from incidents and to work together across the industry to produce policies and procedures that benefit everyone. Safety alerts and standards have been prepared with the HSE covering a range of issues including edge protection and loading bay gates. Training provision and the setting out of best practice is one of the key strategic aims of the Association. We are creating a central hub of knowledge for the whole industry, and we’re committed to leading the way in the provision of world class training in the use of scaffolding. Our members represent a significant percentage of the sector’s capacity and our aim has always been to aid companies in expanding their services and capabilities safely and efficiently. By having such a broad range of members that include clients, erectors, designers, and health and safety professionals, we have been able to assist in creating new opportunities that allow our members to leverage greater value and standards in the scaffolding industry.
