Formed in 2003, Mylife uses film and video to engage young people, working with groups to develop their film making skills and broadcast their message to a wider audience. Since then we have worked with hundreds of young people across the UK and made over 60 short films.

An interdisciplinary UK based visual artist, educator and researcher exploring the potential breaking disciplinary boundaries and finding new ways to approach communication. Exploring how art and science can come together to benefit our health and wellbeing. Sarah has a personal interest in Neurology and Neuro diversity due to having drug resistant Epilepsy. Artist's Practice: Sarah L Goy MA, (Dis) - Animation Production. Sarah initially studied Fine Art and then Natural History Illustration, she now embraces the potential of the moving image. Her focus has always been on emotions, nature and her environment, with a specialisation in drawing and painting from life. Inspired by her travels she aims to capture every day moments in her sketch books, which are the foundations for all her other works. Although taking an analogue and tactile approach to her practice Sarah has become interested in the possibilities and potential of technology, experimental animation and the moving image and how they might be used beyond pure entertainment. This became part of her post graduate research in 2021 and continues to be the core of her research interest. As a visiting lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth ( AUB) and Southampton Art Gallery, she creates and presents new courses, with the emphasis on ' art for all'. Encouraging students to enjoy the process of creating and getting in touch with their inner child. Sarah also creates and runs online art therapy styled creative sessions, again, encouraging a sense of play through which new skills are gained, whilst encouraging a sense of community and inclusivity.

Folkestone's Local Radio Station 105.9 Academy FM is the Community Radio station for the Folkestone area, and an educational charity. We are unique and won School Radio Station of the Year and BBC Sounds Rising Talent Awards at the Young Audio Awards. We've also won national Community Radio Awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018 for our broadcasting and educational work. We are based in the Folkestone Academy school, and broadcast to the local area on 105.9 FM and online. We have a small team of staff and a large group of volunteers. Our charitable educational work is mainly with young people - they are trained in radio production and along the way learn self-confidence and communication skills, and we run projects on literacy, science, the arts, heritage and many more subjects. We broadcast a vibrant mix of chart hits and classic tunes, and many interviews.

inyoung lee

Inyoung Lee is a London-based South Korean actress, director, instructor, and acting coach with over a decade of experience in theatre and film. Her own practice has developed from her training in Korea combined with Western techniques such as Stanislavski, Anne Bogart/Viewpoints, Laban, Meisner, Michael Chekhov, and Grotowski. She earned her MFA in Actor Training and Coaching at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (RCSSD) in 2019. She also holds an MA in Film and a BA in English Literature from South Korea. Before moving to the UK she taught acting as a lecturer in a Konkuk University and other institutes in South Korea. In London she has led 1-1 coaching sessions, group workshops at RCSSD / East 15 Acting School and worked as an assistant director on Six Degrees of Separation in London and Barcelona production, under Geoffrey Colman (Head of Acting at RCSSD).

Imprint is a feminist documentary and artist collective that aims to create an inclusive environment for emerging filmmakers whose work focuses on embodiment and its representation, with a restorative intent and purpose. The Imprint documentary film collective aims to foreground films that engage with the body as a way to reconnect with the world, and to deepen our relationships with ourselves and our environments beyond merely representation. Through collective practice and experimentation, Imprint explores the roles of the corporeal, the felt, the intuitive, the visceral, the sensorial, the inter-relational, and the being in the world inherently associated with having a body as both subjects and theory in the practice and production of documentary film. Our goal is to make the documentary industry more inclusive, and ensure the voices of emerging talent with an original approach to film and embodiment are included within the industry.

Man joined Bird College in April 2021; she is a qualified Accountant (FCCA) and holds a master’s degree in International Accounting and Financial Management from University of Glasgow. Man has more than 10 years finance and account management experience. After qualified from chartered certified accountancy practices, she joined the charitable sector 6 years ago as a senior finance person with the intension to apply financial skillset to support worthy causes. Man has a track record of transforming internal procedures to achieve financial objectives. Her area of expertise was overseeing accounting function; managing systems and procedures to ensure best practice in terms of financial control and compliance with relevant regulations such as SORP and pension; preparing annual statutory financial statements, budget and forecast; managing annual audit. Lutfur Haider BA (Hons) Assistant Accountant Lutfur joined Bird College in November 2022; as an Assistant Accountant with first class BA honours degree in Accounting and Finance. Lutfur was an Assistant Management Accountant in his previous role, progressing towards becoming an Accountant. Lutfur has been keen to advance in accounting and finance and has over 8 years experience with local community, retail and education. With a strong financial background, Lutfur has a proven track record of understanding and articulating needs and requirements of management involving wider operational departments. He possesses excellent communication skills, thrives with variety, enjoys working within a dynamic team solving problems and has an ability to adapt new strengths to suit the changing demands of a business. Daniel Taylor Production Manager Daniel originally trained as a performer at Bird College, but has always had a passion for the technical side of theatre. He has been fortunate enough to do event management, lighting and sound design and operation for professional events across Birmingham and London. Daniel’s experience both on and off the stage has allowed him greater insight into the inner workings of a professional production and has only served to inspire and fuel his artistic vision.
