Welcome to Wyre Forest School. We are a broad spectrum special needs school for children aged 3 to 19. We also have Russell House, a 16-bed weekly residential unit. We have only been in our building since April 2015. Previous to this the school was on two sites following the Wyre Forest restructuring in 2011 (Bewdley Road site, formerly Blakebrook, and Comberton Road site, formerly Stourminster). We share our campus with St John's Church of England School and Baxter College. Our Early Years Hub includes a Nursery Assessment Class, which can take up to 25 children. We have a state-of-the-art science lab housed within Baxter College. We also have a vocational hub and a Sixth Form which prepares children for life after school. Offsite we run the award-winning Blossom Tree Café in Springfield Park. Our vision is to truly ensure that we meet the individual needs of all children at WFS and prepare them for adulthood. I started going to yoga classes when I was just 16, tagging along with my Mum who had been going for years to her favourite teacher Sam. Yoga stayed with me throughout my adolescence, and I always found a class wherever I was, whether at University, on holiday or when I moved away from home. When I settled in Kent, I found an amazing teacher, Rebecca Papa-Adams, who was teaching at my local gym, and I was hooked, I went to yoga several times a week, practiced at home and started becoming interested in the non physical side of yoga. Rebecca convinced me to start my teacher training, even though my immediate plans included marriage and babies. I began my 500 hour teacher training with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2015, shortly after I got married, and unbeknown to me I was already pregnant on the first day of teacher training. I studied for 2.5 years with the British Wheel of Yoga and formed an amazing circle of mentors, teachers and friends throughout that time. I ended up studying and teaching throughout both my pregnancies, which added a whole other dimension to my journey. Seeing the amazing physical and mental effects of yoga whilst being pregnant encouraged me to begin pregnancy teacher training in 2019 soon after my second baby was born; he even joined me on my teacher training days. Yoga provides a lot of different things for different people, but for me it has been present for most of my adult life keeping me grounded, physically mobile and calm. It's opened my mind to other areas of health that I would have never explored otherwise. It's not about being the most flexible or being able to meditate for hours on end, but having strategies and coping mechanisms to live a happy and vibrant life. The classes I teach all include an element of strength, so that when you do stretch, its safe and controlled. I'd love for you to join me at one of my classes, whatever stage you are at.

We bring hoop to your events and parties, whether it be a hen party, or a black tie event. RoRo is a performer and a qualified teacher who has over 10 years teaching practise and a whole load of hoop experience. Originally self-taught, she now teaches at schools, circus schools, and conventions, as well as running weekly classes, and workshops. We travel often and have teachers all over the UK so no gig, workshop or class is too big or too small. We have esteemed performers nationwide who can provide entertainment and workshops for large-scale events with specialisms in hula hoop, fire, LED and aerial. Our School of Circus sessions provide workshop packages and sessions with an attention on being different from the norm, we have circus, dance, and a whole lot more. Many young people do not experience any aspect of circus as prop for performance or as a physical activity and it is our intention to address this whilst offering something different to the conventional norm. As a performer we show case single and multi hoop tricks, blending circus, dance, and a whole load of pizazz. These can be done according to theme, with other performers (hoop or other), or with LED. Party packages (popular for hen & birthday parties) give you the opportunity to learn and see some impressive stuff, where guests can be entertained, whilst learning and having fun. If you are looking for a new hobby, or are wanting to get serious in the world of hoop, you have come to the right place. It’s fitness, it’s circus, it’s dance, and so much more. Moreover, it is something you can practice pretty much anywhere. All you need is a hoop, a sprinkle of determination, and some space. All classes and workshops are taught by trained professionals, in a supportive and structured environment. We can teach online or in person. Magenta Occupational Therapy is an independent occupational therapy practice based in the West Midlands, owned and operated by Louise Baudet. Louise graduated with a first class Honours degree in Occupational Therapy, with a special interest in working with children and young adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as neurological difficulties. She has worked extensively with children with special needs providing assessments and interventions, as well as reports for EHCP's, DLA/PIP applications etc. Her career includes working for the NHS, as well as the private sector, third tier organisations and also education. This has included a range of settings including Tier 4 inpatient, community, education, Crisis, Eating Disorders, Psychosis and young people with trauma and attachment. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist in both mental health and paediatrics. Louise is registered with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC) and also a Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy. She is also a member of the Sensory Integration Network and the Association for Psychological Therapies. Louise has also been a School Governor and worked within education, bringing a knowledgeable perspective to her work when working with schools. She understands many of the challenges and perspectives faced by children, young people and families on a day to day basis. When working with families she advocates a strengths based approach through her work, to ensure that a childs' positive qualities are used as a firm foundation for their future.

After his degree, he worked as a teacher of Science in Blackheath Bluecoat C of E School, also became deputy of the department. Dr Ajeleti undertook his teacher training at Canterbury Christ Church University, obtaining Qualified Teacher Status. He received the grade ‘outstanding’ for his role as a teacher, and this was recognised by Ofsted. During this time, he was still determined to pursue a career in medicine, graduating from the Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. Dr Ajeleti graduated at the top of his class and is currently training in the London Deanery. Raised in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Dr Ajeleti has made it his duty to encourage young people to get involved in medicine and other healthcare professions. As the co-founder of Modern Day medics, he aims to help prospective medical students from BME backgrounds to reach their full potential. After medical school, he undertook his foundation training in Trent deanery and core medical training in South London. During his junior doctor training, he served as a regional representative for foundation doctors and he was a clinical guidance associate at one of his local hospitals. He is currently a gastroenterology trainee in Kent, Surrey & Sussex deanery where he sits on the board for the culture and leadership change team. He is extremely passionate about seeing young people achieve their potential and dreams and with Modern Day Medics, he plans to achieve this.
